I know this was 4 months ago, but I absolutely adore stay. After becoming a bigger fan of Blackpink, it’s become in my top 10! So many people rank “STAY” so low and I don’t understand why 😭
You a real one for putting lsg in no.1. The best thing about the song is its musical production and composition which was so very much different from their previous skimpy catalogue. It was handled by David Guetta, 24, R. Tee, and Leah Haywood.
I'll be honest, I seldom tolerate bp's music let alone enjoy a good part of it. Their releases until aiiyl and a select few songs from their first album are truly commendable but the rest is a huge miss. Hope this contract renewal brings listeners actual quality music instead of 2016 basement rejects. However, if you ask me, even before, there was never really a valid excuse for "the biggest gg on the planet" to have outdated songs for their annual comebacks. As the members are well known to have a good relationship with their main producer, teddy, I don't see how they could be "forced" to accept genuinely horrible songs.

1000000% agree especially with old Blackpink is best Blackpink. People keep saying their music is repetitive and while I don't disagree, I would KILL for a reptition of Playing with Fire, Whistle, As If Its Your Last, Boombayah and even Forever Young. I get what you mean.. I used to be a huge Blackpink fan and I still really like their songs ans love rosé haha but their lyrics are kinda cringe sometimes. I don’t like who they lyrics sound like they acting like victim sometimes… for example how you like that.. like girls what or the girls we don’t need to talk about… but also many other songs.. it’s powerfull and a great songs but the lyrics are childish or delusional sometime…(no hate to Blackpink) but that they maybe don’t know that they obv don’t paved the way bc of the lyrics of the girls is making my laugh.. or type girl.. yeah the song is great but i can’t take the lyrics easily.. they’re der not like this in private life lmao

cant deny that blackpink are definitely iconic and they were my first girl group (along with twice) that got me into kpop. stopped stanning because i wasnt into their music as i thought i was. boombayah, ktl, aiiyl, and lovesick girls, and shut down are definitely in my top favorite songs of theirs
Kick It is kind of the hidden jewel on BP discog. I would say it's on the top tier for best k-pop b-sides ever. They did that, and then never released a good song again.

regardless if you like any or none of their songs, everyone can agree that they are in the top 3 most iconic kpop groups/idols. BP was also my gateway into kpop and for that I will always support them even though i may not like the songs/music as much anymore.

I became a supper fan when they released AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST then D4 did it for me. and i think they hit there peak was Coachella, 2019. Its not there fault that they only have 31 songs its YG everyone knows that. I think the reason they went on the 1 year concert tour was (YG) wanted to make as much money as possible before they were put back in the dungeon. Look at BABY MONSTER there a mess. What they were they were talked about and in training for the group for 3 year or so, some of the girls were like 10 years old . anyway that a different story YG should be taken off the big 3 or 4 . sorry for the long post and this is only my opinion . My point was BP broke up a the best time in there careers. I am still a huge fan but there not umber one on my list anymore. Great channel keep it going

Still one of the best discographies in kpop but I don’t think it’s large enough to have aged as well as it should’ve, ether way there still a blueprint for many groups and depending on your stance a group that helped “pave” the way
i wouldn't say one of the best (although the potential is there) but i agree that they are really influential and they did "pave" the way, especially for the girl crush concept (as we know it) in kpop
@@seulgiicy my stance on Blackpink “paving” the way is that they are the Female BTS in terms of what they did because to me BTS really helped pave the way for Boy groups and male soloist, but also I know solo paving the way is a big thing in that argument so I’m not touching it
