    Absolutely beautiful! Thankyou for sharing! One quick question, how long does the soap need to set in the large cupcake mold? The info on Amazon said 24 hours but do I really need to let it sit up that long?
    Thanks

    Thanks for the video. I’m just starting making soap…so addictive 😊. One question, how long can I keep the wrapped soap until I have to use it? Would it go bad if I wait too long? Thanks

      @koalasoap8435  Před rokem

      I still have wrapped soap that is over a year old that is for the family. There is no problem. I keep going to farmers markets and buying soap to support the soap makers, so I have a lot of my own left.

    I’m new to the whole soap thing, but what does adding the alcohol to the mica do? Also is it drying?

    What kind of melting soap you are using?
    The time of solidify is quite long enough for design or arrangement
    Typically the melting soap cool and get solid very easily like in very seconds
    Thanks for sharing tho

    Hi Anna! I absolutely love your soap ideas they're brilliant! I fell in love with the cupcake mold the large one I went on the link you wrote down and unfortunately they don't ship to Canada, I was wondering if you can get one for me and mail it to me? I will pay you the fees in advance the mold and shipping fees if you don't mind and if it's no trouble for you... thanks and keep up the great work, you're an inspiration I watch frequently your videos. God bless! :)

    Great video!!! You are always so creative!!! Just wanted to let you know that when you click on the link and purchase the large cupcake mold that you said makes around 5 to 6 ounces, Amazon sends out a mold that only makes a 3 ounce cupcake. I was so disappointed. I doubled checked before and after my purchase to make sure I was getting the right one (not the small one) and it was absolutely the correct link, however, Amazon sends a completely different product. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. As always, GREAT content!!!!

    These are cute as heck! Being new to this channel...how on Earth do you clean up your pitchers and things after you've finished? I'm having a heck of a time and I don't wanna clog up my sink. TIA

    • @koalasoap8435
      @koalasoap8435  Před 5 lety

      I pour any mp soap left into a mold for use later. Then if what is left in the cups does not peel out easily I just use warm water. When I do cold process I worry about my sinks more because of the oils etc, but I don't worry so much with MP as it seems to dissolve fairly quickly.

    So do you have to mix the mica powder in alcohol? Or can you put it directly in the soap?

    • @koalasoap8435
      @koalasoap8435  Před 3 lety

      You should mix with alcohol or it will leave colored specks.

      Hi Kathie....don't laugh.... I get them from the local yogurt shop. I ask them for an extra bowl or two and extra spoons :)

    Is this all you do is melt n pour on this channel

  • @Armylady74
    @Armylady74 Před 5 lety

    So instead of learning to pipe you use molds.

    • @koalasoap8435
      @koalasoap8435  Před 5 lety

      For me, I like my soaps to be firm and uniform consistency. I do pipe soaps but almost all recipes do not get completely firm. While they are firm enough to package and send they are still a bit soft like the feel of a hard marshmallow. I think there are ingredients that can be added to make it firmer, but I have not found one yet that is as firm as the rest of the soap.
