- The Division 2 Year 6 has just been revealed at Ubisoft Forward. We had a watch party and lots of you joined in as we watched the announcement together. First Rogue will be the first season from year 6 and it goes live tomorrow! I can't wait to get on and play it. If you’re a fan of the division 2 and haven’t read/listened the crossroads novels, I HIGHLY recommend that you do. They’ve been referencing the events of the novels and vice versa from maybe season 10

Just what I wanted over 9,000hrs grinding just so they can force me to restart at level 1 awesome and I guarantee that master crap is like kenley college I never did it for it either do the same mission just do it in under a time limit look at me I'm a master 😂😂😂 I honestly didn't expect much and they delivered smh
From level 1 to 100, without your build that you grindded days for.

I feel like all we do is get strung along. I have a watch level of 8000+. Cant bear to play the same stuff just for new patches and challenges. Everyone burns out differently on games, I can play other stuff and wait patiently.
The wait will be worth it. They wouldn't be making all these changes to do nothing. DLC is 6-8 months away and expect more before then. I guess the next big news is their special summer event in August
Have I read this all wrong, but are they saying you can take a character to Level 40 and getting the SHD watch without doing WONY? How will that affect SHD mule characters?
That will be interesting to check out today!!
How do you get the master difficulty with the climax mission?
This will come in seasons 2.0 next season. More information will be given in August I believe

The seasonal character idea sounds terrible to me as I don't know how it's going to play out obviously. It currently sounds to me like we'll need to go through the story over and over. But it could be good.l and another thing about it I don't like is losing my gear.
Yes but they said it would be sped up. I think the best thing ti do is give it a go. We will see tomorrow

@@GCROCKThe point is that The Division is not built in the same seasonal format that ARPG'S like Diablo 4, Last Epoch, PoE are built on. I truly hope this seasonal character thing does not go through.

I don't get it.
So what's replacing the Gear Score and World Tiers systems? Nothing? Are they really just removing the endgame progression systems entirely and not replacing them with anything? What's the point of any of the endgame activities if there's now no progression in the game after level 40? Can someone please explain wtf the new endgame is supposed to be now? Every video I find just quickly mentions the removal of World Tiers and Gear Score then moves on without any explanation at all of what's going to be replacing those systems.

I love you videos dude. You are great. My thoughts on Season 6? I am pissed, my entire library got wiped. Nevermind, there are levels now. Not that it makes it any better, why would I waste my time to build a library for level 1-30?

The only positive for me is not being stuck in NY for mule runs. But watch, they'll remove mission XP in DC until level 40. lol
Seasons 2.0 and Manhunt 2.0 doesn't happen tomorrow. It will be in October.
Check this out Division 2 year 6 is all about $$$. Deleting world tiers and an entire gear platform (gear score 100-500) cuts maintenance, server space, and even number of "fixes" required when there is a problem. New manhunts equal significant increase in players which equals server space. Seasonal characters with no stash or backpack will prevent the need for this server space when more players log in. Div 2 is going into auto pilot and they are cutting back on resources not changing the game for player enjoyment. Last manhunt did not
I was discouraged about Season 6 until I heard what you had to say. I think your right. Between x box and playstation almost 32000 shd levels. I need a new reason and way to play this game and keep me going. Change is good.

Did you not get the memo? Seasons 2.0 is so we are not just running control points. All you doubters/haters need to wait and see what it is first befoere casting judgement. New content IS COMING. The DLC was announced ages ago and will be with us in season 3 of this year.
bought a pc and started anew. (left 20K SHD on console behind)
managed to get to Heroic difficulty pretty fast and I got Elmo early on.
other ARs are now a minor priority, which is a shame. I know som hit harder but Im not eager to get another.
now. if they gave us the mods from Elmo to put on other ARs.. that would change a whole lot! Elmo can keep the mag size but I´d very much like the crit mods on other weapons.
Exotics kan keep their unique talent but give us the mods.
Dang it! I just got my watch to 1000! Oh well, will have to see how it plays out.
So I paid hard earned cash for WONY to get that extra content but if I had waited would have got it for free ? Thats a slap in the face. Waiting to see what info they give on season characters before I decide if its a good thing or a bad thing.

I hate that Div2 intro video. Kenner shot and killed everyone with one bullet per person. It should've taken him 5-7, 70 bullet clips to take everyone out! WTF!!😂🤣 That gets me mad!!

as long as they dont make you forced to do the story to get xp every season im here for it. diablo 4 after you beat the story the first time lets you skip the story on all new characters if you want.

Doing the same thing over and over? We will be continuing to do the same thing over and over when we have to grind a character up from 1 to 40 each season. Nothing changes there.

"Seasonal Characters" sounds like absolute dog shit as the seasons are a permeant thing in a way, so how does it work with your main character .....just a non stop grind that is pointless and counter productive.
I think we need to see how it works. I didn't see much good in the way they did seasons anyway. At the end of the season everything is transfered to your main account/character. Who knows, it might work out great.
I was thinking the same thing. Because whats the point, or purpose of your main character if all you will be doing is constantly making seasonal characters. This will basically relegate your main only to pinnacle end-game, like raids and Incursions. This just doesnt seem to make a whole lot of sense, even if every seasonal game out there basically does that.
Pretty much a majority of the players agree with you. It's such a silly idea. If they make it so you can do the season content with your main and no problem then great. But, if you are FORCED to start a new character every time JUST to experience the new content/season? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. The only way to hopefully change it is for the player base to be vocal about it. It should be optional and not mandatory. If it's mandatory then I'm out. I'm just a little shy of 10k SHD level and even I will stop playing because of a stupid change like that.

So i joined your discord and i have to say I am extremely disappointed. Extremely Toxic community. I was literally polite and kind. I just waited and hour in my lobby waiting for "Fordnicky" who was leading the group. He kicks me out the group and starts the raid. Then a few other members begin to antagonize me, for what? Im not sure if they just toxic, controlled, or racist. But I literally did nothing to be treated the way I am treated in your server. All i wanted to do was just play the game and get the raid done.
Do you see the contact us? You can use this to report this to our admins who will perform a full investigation. We can't control peoples behavior unfortunately, we don't have those powers. What we can do is investigate and make sure people are held accountable for their actions. Please submit a ticket and have my team deal with it

Can’t wait for seasons 2.0. I know the community is upset now but I bet plenty of players will come around to it when we see it in practice. That is if Massive can make that seasonal grind fun and exciting.

I already play Diablo 4 and a few other ARPGs for seasonal characters. I don't play looter shooters to make seasonal characters. No thanks.
I’ve played A LOT of Diablo 4 since its release and a lot less division 2 over that same time because I was sumn like shd 13500 and all the engagement I needed to do was to log on for an hour a week to complete the seasonal objective and carry on.
I’ve been playing on PS since Feb and leveling my watch back to 1000, filling my library and putting back my builds together have been the most fun I’ve had in this game, and with seasonal characters, and with the end game and lore the division has, I feel if they implement it right, seasons 2.0 will be a great improvement to the game for vets and a great way for noobs to get into the game without feeling they’re behind everyone else.
@@Solomonlike I also play Diablo for a seasonal grind. I come back every season to play it. Which I why I’m excited to play The Division the same way. I get why others might not be excited. The Division isn’t the only game I play and I tend to take long breaks. A seasonal model would have me playing every season if the content is there to support it.

@@GCROCK If you played ARPG's like the ones I mentioned, it works because of how radically the changes happen from season to season in regards to gear, equipment, mechanics, aspects, endgame, the way abilities work, and the rewards are locked behind seasonal characters only.
Is the division going to start changing how the skills behave? Absolutely not. It does not fit into the world and lore of The Division. The division 2 has very little endgame activities. Incursions... anything else that require a challenge? No.
They aren't going to start making your turret shoot out icecicles that CC freeze the enemy. It would be absurd. You can't shoehorn a system thats in ARPG into a game like Division 2. So what happens to our main character? Ok it gets the rewards from the seasonal... so what is the point of our main character at that point.

I like fresh starts on seasons for one of my favourite games Path of Exile. Not sure exactly how it will feel in Div 2. In PoE I can get to endgame in about 6 hours. I hope Div 2 doesn't milk the potentially dull lvling experience before we get to the fun farming and endgame activities.
It seems like it will be fast tracked from their wording. I hope they get it right!
I hope they do what Diablo does where you can skip the campaign, but still have to do the lvl grind, as the lvl grind is easy, but this games campaign is straight dog
Wow! Sooo many negative comments..i get everyone wants their God Mode 25 expertise striker build but complain that the game is too easy! Cant make these entitled cry babies happy. Yet we still play this gsme you guys(you know who you are) say is dead.

No one is complaining it's too easy. There's not enough content. But majority of the player base doesn't want to start a new damn character just to be able to participate in future seasons and manhunts. It should be our choice, not theirs.
