This is one of those moments I have remembered since Television Parts was first broadcast when I was in my teens. I think it's a fantastic piece of post-modern humor.
This was one of the first things I ever recorded on our new VCR. Loved it. There used to be a whole bunch of clips from the show on CZcams a couple of years ago but they’re all gone now. Not sure why. So sad.
There was an issue with Nez's personal assistant; she was fired shortly before he died, & out of spite she wrecked his CZcams channel & website before the Nesmith family could change the passwords to keep her out.
"I caught *another* one!" with the smoking basket just kills me--great ad lib.
And you never do see the guy with the lampshade head again.

Same here. I remember watching this as a kid. I had no idea who Mike Newborn was until years later when I made the connection with the Monkees.
