'Reform UK Is A Symptom, Not A Cause' | Robert Jenrick Says 'Its Not About Farage'

  • In a candid interview, former Immigration Minister and current Tory leadership candidate, Robert Jenrick, has laid out his strategy for revitalising the Conservative Party. Jenrick, who resigned from his post due to disagreements with the former Prime Minister's immigration policies, believes that the party's worst defeat in history calls for a radical change in its approach.
    He says his party can win the next election with "robust" positions on the issues Reform UK voters care about, "Reform is a symptom, not a cause. It's the result of the failure of the Conservative Party."
    Robert Jenrick also says Labour's "idiotic management" of negotiations with unions over pay, has sent out a signal saying they can 'have what they want', "The trade unions know they're not dealing with serious people."

    • @dertery8724
      @dertery8724 Před 22 dny +2

      @@silvermoonuk Yes unfortunately Labour haven’t supported the working class for a long time. The last ‘true’ Labour leader was probably Michael Foot and every successor has been at least inclined towards globalism.
      The true Cultural Marxist rot set in with Tony Blair who massively increased immigration, undermined our parliament with the Human Rights Act 1998 (which basically stops us deporting anyone) and the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 (which stopped an elected parliament from being the final arbiter). He also passed the draconian Communications Act 2003, section 127 of which criminalises ‘grossly offensive’ or inaccurate’ posts online - this is the section we’re seeing many of the online ‘criminals’ prosecuted under at the moment; as well as the Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006 (the religious aspect of which I really object to) in a further attempt to stop ordinary people objecting to what was happening around them.
      Blair and then Brown also presided over one of the most abominable scandals in British history where working class girls were being abused on mass by Pakistani Muslims whilst the police were instructed to do nothing. As many as 19,000 girls may have been victims of the grooming scandal which plagued Britain right from the 1990s to the article in the Times from 2011 which led to prosecutions beginning.
      Brown did not merely preside over evil but furthered it. Section 158 and 159 of the Equality Act 2010 allow discrimination on a range of characteristics including race, for the purposes of increasing ‘representation’. This is why we see all these adverts for internships that are only for black people; indigenous need not apply.
      The Tories did nothing about these enactments, and continued with the mass immigration betrayal. The only thing they did was reduce the grooming gangs (although there is still an issue of abuse by Middle Eastern ‘refugee’ males).
      In truth, no patriot can ever vote Labour or Tory. Where they are both standing, you should vote SDP if you are on the economic left and Reform if on the economic right. If just one of the two is standing, vote for them as saving our country is at least as important as economic policy.
      I personally dislike Farage’s Thatcherite economics, but without the SDP, would very much consider voting for Reform.

    The conservative party lost touch with the truth, with good sense, with British values, with the British public. In my view, the ended up thinking they could get away with anything and, as a result of that, they did whatever they wanted. Their actions all the way through the Panic of 2020, for instance, show that that. They did what they wanted to, partying, visiting mistresses, while were locked down. Their take on net zero was, as is the current government's, completely ridiculous. Both the Conservatives and Labour could kiss my proverbial and I still wouldn't vote for either party. Nigel is the man, Reform is the party.
