  • Are you working with a reluctant writer? Perhaps some of these options will help inspire them to get going. We've tried a lot so I thought I'd share what I've got in my stockpile.

    I am a mother of three; just doing my best to raise Godly children and find joy doing it. I am a busy wife as I strive to make intentional parenting my goal while making my relationship with my husband my priority. My passion is teaching and I find myself hoarding most teaching/office supplies in my closets. I am the creator of the Preschool With Me, distance learning preschool program. I love to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my kiddos, and History. All my other interests can fit nicely into one word: Pinterest. I love baking, decorating, dreaming, making, free fun printables, motivational quotes, tips, tricks, and ideas by the millions. Lastly, I have an unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ and base my entire life around His Gospel; The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This channel is dedicated first to my husband who is my better half and to my mother who inspired it all.
    Thanks for Watching!

    I love Evan Moor, I love how focused the books are to really focus in on a specific area. I’ll definitely be taking a look at the writing book. 💕

  • @kimberlygoudzwaard2811

    Thanks for this! That real world writing book looks great. I appreciate the Evan moor flip throughs you do; sometimes it’s hard to find enough sample pages of their stuff! I enjoy using their stuff in our homeschool!

    I’ve followed you for several years as I’ve schooled my two girls. They’re soon to finish up third grade. Both of the girls (my granddaughter and friend) are from military families. Both of their families are being reassigned, one to Maryland and one to England. This will end my schooling journey with them. I’m so very sad, though I knew this day would eventually arrive. I won’t be around to follow you along any more, but I wanted you to know why. Best of luck as you and your family go forward with their schooling. You’ve been my very favorite homeschool blogger. Thank you! 🌷

      Deb! You are too kind to take some time to come over and say goodbye. Thank you so much for your kind words. Many blessings to you and to the family whose children you've helped teach.

    Thanks for sharing this with your viewers, great video? May I ask, what’s the difference with this book ‘real-world writing for todays kids’ and the ‘weekly real world writing’ ? Both are from Evan moor. Thanks

    • @FullPurposeAndHeart
      @FullPurposeAndHeart  Před 2 lety +2

      Good question. I think one book (the weekly version) has more activities provided and more age level to choose from. The newer "for today's kids" looks like it is more of an enrichment activity or supplementation for more creative writing practice.

      Real-World Writing for Today’s Kids is a great book to introduce to reluctant writers who need extra practice at home. The full-color activities create fun learning opportunities.
      Weekly Real-World Writing is a great resource to provide more in-depth instruction at home or in the classroom. (It is in black and white format.)
      Does that help?
