In this video, I'll share the two main reasons why defensive backs slip out of their backpedal, and how to fix them. These tips will help you improve your footwork and technique. It doesn't matter if you're playing on turf or grass. We'll cover the importance of planting your foot under your center of gravity. This drives your hips down for better power and stability. I'll also show a simple backpedal drill. You can practice it to reinforce these concepts.
