This soundtrack is such a perfect fit for Piccolo. He's a tough guy with an aggressive edge but has a strong heart underneath all that. 0:00-0:11 represents his toughness while 0:12-0:22 represents sort of his more heartful side.

This tune evokes the promise of high energy, peerless ability and the certainty of overcoming the enemy to the point that one would think Piccolo is the untouchable MC who's come to bring down the hammer on all nemeses regardless of their ultra-instinct endowment, Beerus or Saitama level henchmen at their beck and call.
Yamcha got his own squad to command and was essential to defeat Moro. Piccolo and Gohan got a new movie and new transformations. Goten and Trunks helped as Saiyamen X1 and X2. Krillin and 18 were there Tien wasn't Who's Chiaotzu

@lagorbian it did, before the powerup, goku was getting his ass kicked by syn shenron, after the power up syn couldnt touch goku. Goku said now this is the type of power you should be running from, syn stated what are you talking about you look exactly the same. It was because of gokus increase in power that syn had to become omega in the first place, and goku didnt get the shit beat out of by omega. he was able to lunch the dragon fist on him. even omega admitted that was an extremely painful

Vegeta went majin right, which is about the same power level as super sayain two. the spell allowed babidi to make him stronger and release the evil. The evil part was over when he was destroyed, but not the power increase. It was probably similar in fashion to the namek who release gohans hidden potential. Therefore, if vegeta had not allowed himself to go majin then he would not have been able to go ss2.

While he was fighting majin buu he still had the mark of majin on his forehead.In short, Vegeta go the power up, knocked goku out, took a bean , became stronger, and was able to reach super sayain two because of that. Goku even stated, i dont understand vegeta, you never asked for help...." Vegeta even said that he allowed babadi to take over his mind because he wanted to close the gap between him and goku.
@lagorbian they gave two reasons why vegeta couldnt have turned supe sayain four. One he wasn't pure sayain , he was possessed by bebi, Two bulma stated that he might not have been strong enough for th transformation. also Vegeta didnt receive the extra boost of energy that goku did when fighting omega shenron. Thats why
@lagorbian well one could say that the spirit bomb against frieza was not condensed where as the spirit bomb used against majin buu and omega shenron was condensed. the universal spirit bomb should have been bigger than the earth itself

Piccolo was the greatest villain in the series, then Vegeta took up that place. You have to love how he became a hero and fought alongside Goku.
Piccolo theme from Final Bout is sure great along with the dark gloomy stage that he is in probably Namek planet stage there.
The stage is actually Hell, as it's depicted in the Super 17 arc of DBGT, when Piccolo sacrifices himself and is sent to Hell for his misdeeds.
