This theme will always make me think of Phoenix Magnion. Once I learned his gimmick of only attacking in retaliation, it immediately made him more memorable than most other Mutos Reploid bosses. In fact, he's the only boss in the first half where I can confidently say I have a solid strategy.
@@xflame7556 same here, he was my first and i genuinely thought every boss was this hard then i went and beat him in the boss rush in like 30 seconds flat lol
I really like this theme. It still sounds menacing like Zero1 but also like Zero/ThePlayer got accustomed to the apocalypse. Like getting warmed up before a match. And the warm up was getting your ass kicked constantly in Zero 1.
@@EphemeralPseudonym Even without the Ice Chip, Harpuia is still(sadly) a pushover. The charge attack or even the regular jump slash(which does about the same damage as the charge attack) will force him down to his combo.
One thing that I really love about this theme is how menacing it felt which perfectly fit well with my 1st playthrough on Z2. Compared to the other Zero games,I struggle a lot more with the bosses in this game. @@tbc1880 I agree too, bro Fighting Kuwagust Anchus himself is far more harder than him and his brother Herculiean Anchus fighting together in MMZ2 But I devised of a strategy to beat him, and that is: Attacking him with a full charged Z-Saber powered by the Thunder Chip RIGHT AFTER he spins his head and create whirlwinds towards your side, so you won't have to deal with the hard-to-dodge 3rd attack pattern. When he is hit by the attack, he is forced to skip the third attack pattern, and ultimately repeat the 1st attack pattern again
I like this boss OST. Everytime I listened to this, the bug brother battle is what came to my mind, from the brothers switching part regular to the end ending where both of them ended up crashed on each other.

I think the opposite. For a panther trying to kick you out of two moving trains, this seemed unfitting for me.

To me this was more fitting for the snake boss. It goes even better when he is in his idle animation and about to do a swipe attac

Yeah, this boss theme definitely fits the feel of Panther Flauclaws' boss battles, considering the game's spin on the "on-board a train" boss motif.
Well, people might dislike the music, but we all agree that Harpuia improved as a boss, right?

Right?
I liked his weird falcon/plane/green dyna blade form... so that's an improvement, i guess.
