"With it's 33 foot rage you can use it *from almost any distance* without compromising on performance or speed" . How did you came to that conclusion? My guess is that it'll do quite poorly at ANY distance over 40ft.

At least two of these aren't even available in June 2023.

I can't trust this list. I've been using that exact same Microsoft keyboard, and the connectivity on it is just the worst. It struggles while I'm just sitting on the couch no more than 5ft away. I came here looking for a replacement.

I loved my K830, but not sure its been available for a long time now. Very sad. I have the microsoft one now (as my K830 died) and its poor in comparission. no backlight and trackpad is pretty average to use.

I've been a MacBook Pro (MBP) user for nearly 15 years now and have only recently come back to PCs. We tried out a couple of 2023 PC laptops (one Dell and one HP) and both of them had fairly large touch pads installed. I'll put it kindly and say that both track pads are a hot mess when compared to the Apple trackpads on our MBPs (which I have to use due to nerve issues). If you've ever used an Apple trackpad, would you mind telling me if the touch pad on your Logitech K830 works similarly? I'm especially interested in knowing what the sensitivity of your K830's touch pad is like. Using the PC laptops I mentioned in the second sentence, critical functions would activate or deactivate at the slightest touch of the touch pad surface - with the sensitivity control in Win 11 adjusted to its lowest setting - making the laptops practically useless for me. With an Apple trackpad, on the other hand, one has to purposely push down on the trackpad surface to activate the "single-click" or "double-click" functions. Put another way, I'm looking for a wireless keyboard with a touch pad installed that actually has less "click" sensitivity than what I've experienced with the new laptops we've tried out. Thank you for any thoughts you might be willing to share.

@@user-cd7jx2td8n The K830 was the best ILLUMINATED touchpad keyboard made. It's two main weaknesses- the charging port and the undersized battery. I installed a magnetic charge cable adapter in mine when it was new and it lasted about four years before breaking away from its board. The keyboard hasn't been made for 2 - 3 years now and used ones go for $200 - $400, as they were otherwise the very best. There is nothing on the current market that is worthy of $5. The only real alternative is the Logitech K400 which is not illuminated. Logitech refuses to answer anyone on why it hasn't developed a suitable replacement. Pretty stupid on their part...

      +1000 points here.
I just bought a K830 for an insane price.... I tested 7-8 other keyboards with integrated touchpad, and they are ALL useless compared to the K830. They who sell unused K830's on ebay etc now, know what they got.
Logitech won't make them again, the K400+ SUCKS in comparison. So does the MS one, and all the other china ones I tried.
The Corsair K83 fcks up audio playing in exclusive mode for some reason (stops playing, only continues playing when you disconnect the keyboards USB recver) ..... we HTPC enthusiasts are just ... doomed. :(
      this video is useless btw

@@user-cd7jx2td8n The K830 was not bad, but nothing compared to a macbook pro (which I used for work). But the K830 is way way better than the cheap Microsoft all in one I have now. Its definitely a gap in the market for lounge/home theatre all-in-one keyboards since logitech dropped the k830

you can't unless you buy resale for $500. They discontinued it and never made another backlit trackpad keyboard. Drives me crazy cause my k830 always has issues I need a new one. Keys randomly stop working for weeks and then start working again for weeks and then randomly stop again and it repeats monthly lol
