If you do mess something up, you’ll need a consult III or Infiniti to reflash/restore the settings.
Stumbled across this hidden menu while playing with the controls trying to get to the hidden menu everyone else knows about already. Might be useful to someone if they have a Consult III.
Update to answer some questions I didn’t actually think a lot of people would stumble across this video as I made it for the g37 forum way way way back.
1. It’s a 2011 G37x Sedan
2. The menu doesn’t offer much and probably won’t fix anything on your radio, purely for entertainment but you could also really break something that requires dealer intervention so don’t change/reset anything.
3. Not sure what other models this works on, I don’t have this radio setup any longer I replaced the whole radio with a Tesla style android tablet. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
The real question is how he got 22mpg lmao I can barely get 14mpg sometimes 😅😅
The secret is get on the highway, wait until you’re up to speed, then reset the mpg counter and cruise for a while. You’ll at least see your true highway mpg. Then your average is based off that highway mpg you were getting.

Man, I just bought an 09, and my gas milage is not what yours is. Damn it. Oh well, at least I look good and get there fast while doing it.
Andrew Pannelli haha mines not always that good I was likely driving grandpa style and coasting a lot. I also drive a lot of highway.
I get 21.5mpg in the 2011 g37 sedan, but i floor it sometimes, and have test pipes, dual k&N intake, and a tune running on it.

Can this be used to reset the radio to recognize Bluetooth audio from an iPhone for music playback?
I don’t recommend trying this, it’s really for an Infiniti/Nissan tech to use for diagnostic info. I take no responsibility for what you do with this menu
What’s screen did you start in? I know Audio off but anything else? Counterclockwise first then clockwise?
what year is your G37 and does the car have to be running. also are you pressing the back and voice key while rotating the volume knob?
He has a non nav unit, it might work the same

I can’t get the menu to pop up at all I have a 2012 g37 what am I doing wrong
My 2012 getts better milage than my '09 did, but the '09 was faster.
I tried this on my infinity 2013 G37x, and it was a disaster. My audio went off! No sound now. I tried in settings but the audio settings are deactivated. There is no factory reset menu now. What can I do?
My Stuff sorry to hear man. I don’t know the implications of changing anything here do but you’d likely need to bring it to Infiniti to reflash/reset it. It’s all at your own risk here.

I have a 2012 g37 it works . You just have to keep holding and spinning the volume button about 20 secs

2012 G37 Convertible... Can't make this happen! Am holding down small back & voice buttons below big knob (right?) & turning volume knob BOTH directions! Nothing changes on screen ... Help?!? (Btw, I'm lucky if I get 14mpg!)
Anyone know how to get the doors to lock on start instead of 5mph?
I think the dealer can do it, or you can buy a Consult 3 (expensive) and learn to do it yourself. Needs Windows XP to run I believe.
Both back buttons pressed, then clockwise 12 dials then counter clockwise 9 dials should work

how are you getting 23 mpg and what does the cold start menu do?
I just drive like a grandma or you could just reset the mpg when you are on the high way at highway speeds and see what you average there. I probably hadn’t driven a lot.
No idea I wasn’t going to be a guinea pig for that one. Just showing people what’s available
mines 24 mpg rn, 34k miles on the car, 2011, i just got lucky😭😭
and you can raise your mpg by simply driving slower :) it’s an average, drive less aggressive, save more gas, mpg goes up
Is there a setting to unlock motion video?
Not that I know of. I have replaced my whole infotainment console with a Tesla style screen.

Something like that. My mpg ain’t what it was that’s for sure. This video mad old and since moved on to a g37 Tesla style screen.

@@jitha6111 I got mine from Pheonix Automotive and I like it no issues. Rhino radio on Facebook has a better put together package though and their harnesses just work. They just came out with a newer unit that’s faster with more memory.
What year is this Infiniti? I have a 2013 IPL, doesn’t seem to work. With engine on, volume off, holding settings and turning audio knob I can access a different style menu...
2011 g37x. It’s been so long since I did this. I since have installed a Tesla style android radio in its place

@@TPRighteous it was great until about a month ago my PX3 screen turns on and works fine then dies after a minute. I was part of the original group buy, everything was working fine too. I’m going to get a new one from rhino radios the PX6 13.6 screen. Seems rock solid from what I see and hear from others that have it
Does factory cold start reset the radio to factory?
I have no idea but I am not willing to try it without any way to revert what might change.
