Hypa Hypa is where they really kicked off with their new clean vocalist, this song was their big viral moment that really catapulted them to where they are now.
As others have said, there's a bunch of cover versions of this track by other bands/artists, WBTBWB being my personal favourite as it's absolutely filthy.
If you've never done Jinjer - Pisces... it's a react classic.
Yeah, the different cover versions are rad.
Btw... the "Dance Crew" at the end is a group of german streamers and youtubers. The biggest one is HandOfBlood with way over 2 Million subscribers (the tall skinny guy in the right back with the black afro wig). You will see him clearer in MC Thunder I and MC Thunder II. And the Dancer in the middle with the blond wig is Kalle, remember that name... specially if you react to Castop X Spandau...

I suggested a few EC songs to a reactor I follow and he really likes them, but all 4 reactions got blocked... I want to request more but nobody else will see them if he keeps getting blocks...

They're pretty old band, but I wouldn't move from old material to new. The band really found their groove when they got the new clean singer (Nico), so if you go back further than THIS song - one vocalist changes and the band isn't quite on the same level as now. Although that's up to debate and personal taste. But as far as reaction audience goes, I'm fairly sure that it's only the new songs that will bring them.

Yeah, I'd say this is pretty close to spot on. Personally I went back and listened to their stuff pre-Nico and I wasn't really impressed. It's not that they weren't talented or anything like that, they just didn't have the "fun factor" that I would guess is what most people are being drawn in by now.
Except all their great old songs like MC Thunder I, or Crystals, or Muffin Purper Gurk, or Best Day... Yes they got internationally famous with this song but they did great music (and hillarious videos) long before.
@@tattooedandreviewed I really like their new stuff, and the chemistry with Nico and the rest of the band it great. Some of their older stuff is great too! I like Rehab, Supernova, MC Thunder, Muffin Purper Gurk, Crystals, etc.
I like all their material...its just that I prefer Nico's vocals to Suushi's. It's a better balance with Kevin's screams.

I see quite mixed emotions about their older material in the comments. It is correct that the "Nico era" stuff will probably rise more attention, despite some exceptions like Crystals, Muffin Purper Gurk and the original MC Thunder. On the other hand, almost all their videos, from the very beginning, display an enormous amount of creativity and in most cases also lots of humor.
When they started, their declared role model was Attack Attack (and it shows very clearly in the old songs) but they also started quite early to have some variety here and there while always being easily to be identyfied as EC.
By the way, they have some making-ofs on their channel, in German but with English subtitles, which are showing how well behaved and serious they preform while filming a music video ;)

I’d also suggest Crystals, an older track from 2015 with their previous singer. Probably my favourite track of theirs, though I love them all!

I'd definitely say check out their live version of Hypa Hypa at Parookaville. They were the first metal band invited to perform there as it's actually an EDM festival. The Parookaville channel has the whole set on their channel and Electric Callboy has the single cut of Hypa Hypa on their channel.

Other low hanging fruit on the reaction scene is Nighwish and Jinjer, like many others have commented. To expand out a bit, beast in black is a great choice as is battle beast ( beast in black was founded by a former member of battle beast). Unleash The Archers is another great band to react to and I saw another comment suggesting Nanowar of Steel - Valhalelujah, i couldnt agree more. Looking forward to more fun reactions!

Hypa Hypa has 7 or 8 cover versions done by established bands in many varied genre's. They are all a Must Watch. The Centerman in the "Dance" part with the Iceblond Mullet wig, is Kalle Koschinski, he's a collab artist on the song Castrop x Spandau they wrote it together, and a great friend of the band. He's also an extremely popular twitch streamer in Germany with 550k+ subs.
And HandOfBlood with 2.5 Million subs doesnt count? Cause he only played the "main actor" in 2 of their Videos?🤔

I would give a listen to their old stuff. Do like a song or 2 per album, I think it is worth it just to get the feel of the history of the band. I like the old singer in his own way. Which, if you are curious he now has his own group ghøstkid, which I think is pretty good. Is heavy not goofy. While I agree Nico is better, I still think the journey is worth the listen.
Watched about 20 reactions to this song (yeah, I need help) and only about 2 reactors have mentioned how hot she is. I know there's a LOT going on, but c'mon... 😳❤️🤘
