6:51 *has 8 seconds left on the clock*
Eric: wait a minute
Bruh moment
Lol I was going to comment the same
Same. I thought to myself: Eric... you don't have a minute.
3:50 ONLY time I've ever seen Eric take so long to make the most OBVIOUS and ONLY POSSIBLE move to avoid getting mated lol. He's thinking 5 steps ahead true, but at that point there LITERALLY is no other option other than G3! haha
@@tcg4111 he was considering to move his rook away to give the king an escape square... Probably.
Eric: Calmly winning with 5 seconds left
Me: Panicking and blundering all my pieces with 3 mins left
10:42 “Thanks son for being born.” - Eric Rosen 😂👌
Big fan🙌🏽
Is this real?
LMAO dj titled Tuesday
Dad energy over there.
You could hear the "...I guess" in his voice
More terrifying than yelling is when your parents say they're disappointed, but most terrifying of all is when Eric says "Yeah that move was actually a mistake." The most devastating sentence
LOL. Said so calmly, then the punishment appears on the board.
"oh no my queen"
"I need more Ponziani content on CZcams to balance out the Stafford Gambit content" Hahaha
I genuinely hope he is serious, the Ponziani opening is one of my favorites.
I agree
Yeah me too I'd love to see more ponziani .
@@ArcadiaCv until everyone learned to counter it, because everyone started using it?
Eric always says "there's a cool line" like they're still in theory.
aren't they theory still though?
"lines" is not exclusive term for theory. any sequence of moves is a line
@@TheSoulBlossom Yes they are mate 👍
@@TheSoulBlossom it's just a plan or tactic for material advantage , check mate or intuition
@@mcbublick in this context it sounds like he's referring to a known or discovered line not just any set of moves. Hard to say for sure though. He does speak dryly.
"kudos to my opponent for surviving so long" Eric really be flexing out here
While his opponent is a CM
his voice makes me so calm that i want to drink a tea and chill while i watch a good chess video
Right!
8:16 'what a gay man'
what a *game
@Titan
It's called sense of humor. You should get one. They're nice!
hahahahahahha
Sounds like true love, honeykins... It's your photo that gives you away, sweetie ...
My spouse and I are recent converts to your channel Mr. Rosen. We had been viewing lots of Gotham chess ,but Levy goes too fast for us to catch on . Your laid back style and careful constructs are helping us pick up our games. It's to the point where I fear missing any videos that my partner has seen without me. Very risky for me to be sure. Thanks
Bro you are my favorite chess CZcamsr with gothamchess keep going man👏👏
I dont know why i cant stomach gothamchess
My fav are eric and hikaru
@@CaslavNorisavljevic there is a bit of ego there but is that rly that much of a problem brat
@@CaslavNorisavljevic GothamChess has a bit more of a distasteful personality. His previewpics are cringe and he seems more geared towards children. But it's not that bad
@@ulcea7900 the quality of Eric's highlights is unmatched. when i watch a gotham video, his self-aware humor is what saves it. otherwise to me he just comes off as a good chess player who teaches for money. which is fine i guess. but Eric's passion for the game captured authentically is 100x better on every level, for instruction and for entertainment.
“El train de hípe”
I've enjoyed a ton of your content, thanks! But WOW, that was utterly gangsta. Crushing while staying just one tempi ahead of opponent's mate. Edge of seat stuff.
This was amazing
one tempo singular
Call an ambulance, but not for me.
Eric Rosen with 10 seconds left and his opponent with over 1 minute left
I have been watching your channel for over a year now and as I think of it, it's incredible how much I've learned. Thank you Eric and keep up the good work!
Hello Eric!
Thanks for another ponziani video ,was waiting for it!
Eric with 5 seconds remaining: "Hmm now wait a minute"
What a coincidence. Yesterday I was just wondering about the Ponziani and thought of searching for some content about it. But here it is!
6:50 Wait a Minute is bad if you have 10 seconds on the clock
That's the first game I ever saw you play... just to play....
You're vicious!
I like it.
Great content as always. I gotta check your Twitch streams more often. Cheers!
Excellent content, Eric!
Love the Ponziani analysis. Your other video on it is how I found your channel.
Eric, you have the best chess channel on twitch AND youtube. Thank you for your uploads and your passion.
Really great to see you and very nice practical teaching. Stay blessed always.
yes please bring on more Ponziani content!
yes pls more Ponziani content! i have used it quite a bit because of your vids
Always waiting for the chess video by eric rosen😌
thanks Eric! i play this opening now cuz of u!!!
The Ponziani is too strong!
You have a very soothing voice which makes learning easier.
Yes, more Ponziani content is desperately needed
this got recommended to me. Great game!
Love your content Eric. Even though I’m pretty useless I just won a game with a Ponziani and Qa4 in 12 moves. It seemed to baffle my opponent and left him wide open. Really nice 😀
new sub after binge watching a bunch of your videos : )
I feel like i could be put to sleep with rosen ASMR chess moves in my ear
Nice video! enjoyed the tennis stream btw
Oh no my queen, my beautiful queen. Checkmate.
6:23 bishop to b5 is also nice. Stockfish only gives +5 at the end but you basically force the queen trade and the situation becomes a lot less sharp for white
I see Eric Rosen video. I like it.
you and john bartholomew provide the chillest kind of chess videos. i love it.
Many thanks, as ever.
How Eric says congrats to his opponent even when the line is veeeery murky and unclear is masterful! Great content, wish I found your channel sooner. +1 sub🙂
Eric - love the Ponziani content and thanks for the heads up re subscribing with prime, will do that today. Where would you recommend learning the Ponziani in depth? Also, do you have any anti siclian systems you play as that's my major stumbling block with playing 1e4 (Ive always generally played 1d4 to avoid it)
That was a brutal beatdown ouch
Eric is the type of guy that is so funny he doesn't realise how funny he actually is just by the tone of his voice much love brother from aus
Thank you for your videos, I just started playing , which one of your videos do you recommend for beginners?
More Ponziani please! 🔝
Just today, I was looking up Eric's Lichess games where he plays the Ponziani and here's a video on it. Nice.
Many many thanks 💥💥...love u lot...
I’ve never seen another chess youTuber, but I don’t think I need too. Thanks for all the videos!!
You need to give THE KING A ESCAPE ROUTE
Loving the ponziani content
i totally agree. Ponziani creates a quick and simple imbalance but how to capitalize with mis placed knight is the trick
whenever i see erics face in a thumbnail of a suggested video i know its about a dirty trap lol
El train de hipe, love it 😂
Every time i blunder, I just hear Eric’s voice saying “yeah so that move was actually a mistake”
Love the channel.
Awesome crushing victory 👍
"KH4 is funny" but in actuality it's hilarious and I still don't know why.
I love Eric's games it's like watching a movie - so suspenseful and our hero always seems to win in the end when all these impossible obstacles are thrown his way.
Very useful. I've played the Ponziani a few times but tend to lose or not get a great advantage against opponents who play d4, so I must remember this!
And there must be a cartoon animal - a cat, or snail, or sloth! - waiting for Eric to provide the voice for...
From a practical standpoint
Given a time situation
that was so brutal
Amazing!
crazy game
Oh no my trap
This guys is legend
Hey I’m new to your channel. I’m curious where/how did you learn all of these gambits, books etc?
What a game!
8 second left.
"Oh wait, there's a cool line"
I always got heart attack when there's only 20 sec left
can you do a video on how best to use the analysis feature ?
Eric, why does Josh's dad in Finding Bobby Fischer look like a cross between you and Ray Romano
I looked at this game and found Black's E pawn is the key for Black to win. Black blundered by NOT moving the E pawn forward. Eric, luck played a role in this win. It was very entertaining to watch. The key to this variation is to know when to cut and run with the material gained or the disruption made upon Black's ranks.
More Ponziani please
Eric and his tricks. Jesus.
Youre the best eric
Remember JoannaTries? Lost against her when she was 915. (You were 2200 lichess at that time)
cheater on the spot
NUKE LAUNCHING
Takes a special person to say thank you squid ball face with a straight face🤣
Eric "Tricks and Traps" Rosen!!!
I love the ponziani so much!
remember watching this live on twitch :o
@EricRosen when do you usualy streaming?
I really enjoy you play m8,
Maximum respect 👏
How about a video on how you set up your software, please. For example, after a game, I’d like to play the moves and see what “the engine” says about moves as the game progresses and gives an accuracy percentage.
I’m sort of isolated chess-wise so it would be handy to have a knowledgable evaluation, even if it’s from a “machine”.
This guy is the deffinition of a chess nerd
The computer is helping growing players so much! It's scary, but really cool!
Eric I fall asleep to your YT videos. I mean I come for the chess but your voice I sware I’m out in minutes.
Take his king!
Eric Rosen please make a ponziani video with every single line and opening possibiliry
Nice video!
Damn, Levy gonna come over you. Again wearing the yellow hoodie :P
hi eric, i would like you to make a vedio on calculating moves in chess
Some advice would be nice too..!
Are there any moves from black that should deter you from playing the Ponziani? Or can you always play e4, Nf3, c3, d4?
Brilliant
Holy shit what a game lol
Hi Eric what site do you play online chess at?
Hahaha.. i kove this channel but now I am pissed out my face and was listening to music and it popped up. Hahaha. Love it. Me and ACDC now!
How does the engine on lichess show two arrows? Mine shows only one. And how do the variations show up at the top?
What Chess platform is Eric using?
