Minecraft Productive Bees builds on the content added by Minecraft 1.15 and adds additional minecraft bees and advanced beehives allowing you to put your bees to work creating resources fully automated. Minecraft Productive bees are just as derpy as it's vanilla cousin, but makes up for it in usefulness and bee-uty.
Minecraft Productive Bees adds bees for all vanilla resources as well as your favorite modded resources like copper, lead, silver, etc. There are also a lot of minecraft productive bees for mod specific resources for mods like Mystical Agriculture, Silents Gems, Powah, Tinkers Construct, Thermal and many more. In total you can find more than 150 minecraft productive bees if the relevant mods are installed.

But what flower does a lapis bee need to make lapis comb?
I believe they pollinate using a lapis block. For breeding any flower.
@@Glittersword you single-handedly saved me so much headeache. I was this close to giving up on the mod, I couldn't figure out why on earth my diamond bees would go into the hive but never produce anything even though they had flowers. After reading your comment I realized they probably needed a diamond block near the hive and sure enough, it worked, so thank you

Thanks for this. I used to use a mod called ‘More Chickens’ to do material farming because I found bee mods like this very complicated and confusing (still kinda complicated but you did a great job explaining it), but the mod is bugged and the Ghast Tear chicken is unobtainable and therefore Netherite Scrap chicken is unobtainable 🤷♀️ I don’t necessarily need that chicken but this mod is already pretty jank and I’m tired of messing with it, so this mod should do well as a replacement. Also kinda cool that if you have Ice and Fire, you can turn Draconic Bee spawn eggs into Dragonsteel bee eggs, I’m not gonna do that because it’s the ultimate lazy but still neat 😂

Hi there! I really found this guide super useful, I was wondering how to breed bees to get better genetics, or is it all random?
whats the mod that tells you the growing time of nests or animals?
Also if you find a village, theres a big enough chance that you will find sturdy bee cage, and unlike normal "bee cage" which have 1 durability, "sturdy bee cage have infinite durability, so it will be a HUGE help if you have two ,or at least one
i was lucky enough to find 2 of them at the start of my world and now i got 6 normal bees and 1 magmatic bee!
I have a problem that most of my bees are no longer producing honey combs, stunting my progress completely.
These are not solitary bees but hive bees. Specifically my Iron, Redstone, Copper, Tin and lead bees are producing nothing

Does the centrifuge have a chance of not giving honey/slime im on atm9 and it doesnt seem to be producing slime balls just wax

Hey there, I've been playing on the all the mods 8 pack on curse forge and trying to get into bees, because they are awesome. I've been struggling a bit, despite your awesome vid. So do I have to take wild bees from nests around the world and get them to breed with vanilla bees to get them to be useful? most of these wont go into the hives I've built so I'm missing a step or something
So apparently you must have the oak extension for it to work and I learned the hard way by traveling a lot and failing like 2 times
I'm trying to automate slimy bees but they are not producing. I spawned mine in a slime chunk so my question is do they need to be in a swamp or slime chunk to produce or am I bugged?
My advanced oak hives don't have any upgrade slots at all.. This is on 1.19.2 :( But very nice guide!
nvm.. you need to add an expansion box for the upgrades to show and be used :P

Alright how do I manually stick a bee in an advanced hive? Right clicking with the bee cage doesn't seem to really do it far as I can tell

idk if my game is bugged or something but my bees are doing literally nothing. I've basically identically replicated 3 separate ways I've seen to build a contained bee farm, and none of it is working. they just fly into a corner of the building forever, and every once in a while go sit in the hive for a bit and produce exactly nothing

Hey I have an issues, I got 6 diamond bees with 2 advanced bee hive but they dont produce anything even if they hop into the hive from time to time. I displayed flowers all around... any clues?
having the same problem
Try looking at the bee whilst sneaking to get a tooltip to pop up with information about the bee, it should state what they eat. Not all bees need flowers, some need the resources they are named after - redstone bees need a redstone block nearby for example.
I think there were major changes to the mod. I tried putting the slimy comb in a centrifuge and it gives me honey and no slimeball.

hello, i have one issue with this i made a bee breeding chamber which needs power to work, is there any vanilla way to get power or is it also just a mod with power items in it?
Mods is the only way. Mekanism is my favorite energy related mod but it's a bit complex, it does have some simple power generators that you could use though
iron furnaces has a simple and can generate some good power

I'm in the same boat, did you find the issue by any chance? I've got Redstone and Lumber bees all set up alongside a hive of regular bees, but only the regular hive is making anything.

I tried to set vanilla bees to an advanced beehive and they all flew away and literally vanished, they didn't even show up on the minimap, only to have a skeletal bee appear in the beehive minutes later? I'm extremely lost.
