When Jess first discovered the property, it was two dilapidated railway cottages in need of love and a whole heap of creative vision. With over 15 years of interior design experience, Jess was more than up to the challenge.
The cottages have been completely transformed into an expansive, stylish, and thoughtfully curated family home. Sympathetic, traditional style runs throughout the house, with modern touches adding to the contemporary farmhouse feel.
Describing her interior style as ‘organic modern’, Jess’s home embraces texture, natural materials, and a soft, heritage colour palette. Her style works perfectly in this period property, complementing the original features whilst creating a timeless aesthetic.
An impressive kitchen sits at the heart of the home. Flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, the design blends traditional elements with a sleek, modern kitchen creating a truly remarkable space.

I agree that it's important to have a bit of dark and cozy. It is hot and sunny here most of the year, and I love having a place to get away from the glare and heat. I also like color, and traditional lines. A space needs to work for the lifestyle of the occupants. Your practical 'mud room' is perfect.
If only we had that problem here in the UK! Can't remember the last time we got sunshine!!!
