- How to Make a Book Trailer (the easy Way) // Every time one of my novels come out, I create a book trailer that releases about a week or so before the book comes out. The book trailer helps create a ton of hype for the novels and also tells people where to go to buy the book. I have a CZcams video that I’ve made in the past that goes into detail about how I create my book trailers, but today I want to talk about how just about anyone can create a book trailer. No experience in video editing or filming necessary.

Oooh, thank you for the shout out to various software and several good examples of trailers! And the tip about the main character being the voice for the voiceover. I totally wouldn't have thought of that. Definitely going to check out your trailers now!

I wouldn't recommend using that song. You need to use music that is royalty free or you'll need to purchase the royalties, which can get pricey.

There is another thing you can do. Without using music or voice you can just do sound effects. An example would be The Lost World: Jurassic Park teaser. This is for the film and not Crichton’s novel. However, it builds hype with sound effects. There are visuals too but that may be difficult to pull off unless you have a friend in the digital media department. czcams.com/video/nq8FYD0FACk/video.html

Thank you for the great idea. I wrote THE FIRST HORSE PEOPLE, the complete history of my ancient tribe the Sarmatian knights and the Amazon women. I am revising to put in the parallel history of the Slavs and how they became allies to the horse people. I had taken the ancestry DNA test looking for viking and found none. It took me 2 weeks to follow this rumor told by our dark age nobles and found these busts that the Romans have 3000 years ago and my family look like twins of these guys still today and my last name means the eyebrow bridge of the Sarmatians. When the Amazons got tired of dealing with the Romans they took the tribe and horse herds north to their only ally the Slavs. All Slavs have Sarmatian DNA but we Poles have the most we are 50/50 Sarmatian/Slavic.
I will be launching my book at the pierogi festival where 500,000 Slavs attend annually and they have no idea not only are they decended from the first horse people but the Amazons are their actual grandmothers. They found their tombs 3 years ago and have our DNA.
I wrote the complete parallel history of the Amazons as well because they get a bad rap, but if you read their true history it was all about freedom and the neighboring tribes trying to take from them when they were the only people on horse with herds. You see how many Slavs are in the world and it didn't go very well for those who tried to take their freedom and land. Their territory was the entire Steppes, which are the great plains between Europe and China.
