A lot of the stuff in this chapter Kubo took from early BLEACH. Things like the reiatsu class scale for aristocrats. We knew that since early SS (chapter 83) when rookie Kaien was ranked as class 6. And Ichigo being a translator. In Volume 1 on his character profile Kubo said he admires Shakespeare. We also found out after 686 his major at university was English Literature. Also King I agree with you about Kazui eyes. On the last page the rings in his eyes that look exactly like the Hell Hollow rings. That's not how Kubo draws shiny eyes it was deliberate symbolism.
Reminds me when he did that with Yachiru, showing Zaraki's Zanpakuto in her eyes as the highlight.

Do you know the age difference between Yamamoto and Unohana? I don't get (even if you don't know) why you don't see with your eyes how old Yamamoto looks in comparison to her lmao.
Also Yamamotos Bankai power is literally bringing back people he already killed.

Shinsui and Ukitake were kids when Yamaoto took them, when he looked like 50 ( in human age).

I want a source, where it was ever stated/confirmed that Retsu is the SAME age as Yama,
and Shunsui is 500 years old. We only know that Ukitake is a captain since 200 years we dont know how old they really are and they both should be around the same age.
Everything you said up till now is all your own headcanon, Shunsui being 500 years old, Retsu being the same age, she trying to make her look young.

Kazui is most likely being manipulated by who was telling the story in the beginning about the fishes.
The reason why I feel this is true is because Kazui is shown riding a fish on his way to where he opened the gate which looks ominous unbeknownst to him.

@@KurokamiNajimiit strongly hints that it was ukitake. The hell chapter focuses A LOT on him and we even see his zanpakuto appearing outside of the hellgate. Remember his zapakuto spirit are twinfishs in human form and in the beginning when he tells the story about the two fishs he once owned, he talks about how the weaker one died, but that it was "a good thing", because it made the other one stronger or sonething like that. There is a theory that ukitake had a twin brother who died and thats why his dead twins zanpakuto spirit became part of his own zanpakuto. The spirits are even in childform and LOOK LIKE ukitake!

Boruto us realistic not likeable. Boruto also explores the side of what it's like to have your parents around even though your dad is the hokage he's ironically never around. I get that these themes go over your head and you only have a shallow understanding of concepts
So in my opinion I think this is what has happened with Ichiog's zanpakto.
What we see him using now is his UNRELEASED Zanpakto.
When he DUEL WIELDS is his SHIKAI
And his BANKAI is when he fuses his DUAL Zanpakto into ONE.
aa bit late, but kubo explained whats going on with his sword on hus Klub, he can basically change the shape and appearance of his sword to whatever he likes now, basically "The Sword is ME"

I guess king didn't notice that Atau(the dude that doesnt talk) wrote his shikai release command on his sword and that's how he activated it. Also I'm guessing that Akon (the research and development dude) is using a Zanpakuto that's based off of Mahjong cause Ron (the original translation) is a set of tiles you can get in mahjong. That's what the multiple number thing was about. Why they changed that is beyond me. Also Kira's Zanpakuto Wabiske increases the weight on the things it cuts. This man talking about his socks 😂

I'm guessing that the reason ichigo has that same looking zangetsu sword is because that's his zanpakuto's sealed state and his shikai is the duel blades and so on

I mean first time we saw hell we saw a giant using a massive sword to drag the hollow in(which god implies that was an ex-captain) as for why it was giant I have two main theories
the first is brought up a few times in that how making things bigger generally mean it is less dense, so they condense it down(it is also brought up why getting bigger is only useful if you can keep the same density otherwise things will break or cut you that normally won't) so it is a way to allow the density of those captains to drop below grade 3 back up to where they can once more rejoin with worlds
or it is the punishment in hell for growing so strong and is just the shingami version of the mutations that hollow go through.
it does make me wonder if anyone who reaches captain level strength is auto bound for hell
Remember zanpaku shapes and sizes actually depends on how shinigami controls their reisatsu, so it implies ukitake gain immense power and can't control it.
That might be part of it but it also there body not just the sword that is changed we saw this all the way back during chapter 12(sword, hand and all so it was what 600 ish chapters for that to come back )
I mean the sword is still smaller than what Isshin claimed they would be if captains did not control their sword size and Ukitake was already one of the strongest captains by a lot

Durning the fight with Juha.Ichigo went into bankai and the swords combined but Juha broke one of them so the one that ramained became the base of the Zanpakuto.I have known this for a while since Epilogue Ichigo and Rukia are playable in Brave souls and i got them both.

Remember when Byakuya was supposed to die at the hands of Äs Nödt, but fans out crys made Kubo reverse that plot twist...now picture the wasted potential they've caused by being so short sighted. sigh
PS: Rukia was still able to Execute Äs Nödt, it was just not as impactful as if Byakuya was dead.
Yeah as much as I love Byakuya (hes my favorite character) he should have died then. Then when rukia finally kills him it has way more impact since she did it on her own instead of how it was shown in the manga. To me personally it still looked like Byakuya was holding her hand through it. Especially when he said you can do this rukia you're strong enough. She was gonna activate her bankai regardless of whether he was there or not. Kubo made rukia look weak since it looked like she needed a pep talk in order to do something she should have done on instinct alone. She should have activated her bankai on sight since she knows full well that he damn near killed byakuya in their first encounter. So fooling around shouldnt have been an option. If it was me in her position I would have been like so you're the one who killed/almost killed my brother? BANKAI
