Loving this new chapter for you and your family Kelly!! I would wait to bring in new appliances into the home until after your floors are down. If you have a place you can store them before moving them into the home that’s a good plan too! It will make the process faster for you when they install the floors. About 6 years ago I got all new appliances, Frigidaire Gallery, and I have been so happy with them. Growing up I always thought you were rich if you had a fridge with the ice maker and water dispenser on the front on the fridge.😂😂😂 So when the time came for myself to have one I was very happy. It’s the little things in life. I love Alabaster. It’s the perfect color!
Toilets definitely after. They should take them up to put your flooring down.

Have you considered just replacing the counters with new laminate? It really wouldn't be very expensive and would be an upgrade for sure.

When painting the ceiling... use ultra bright white in a satin finish. It will help light bounce off of it and make room look brighter. A flat finish will absorb the light.
From experience, get your toilet after your floor is put in, otherwise you’ll have to pull the toilet up twice , in order for them to install the floor. I watch Karrie Lynn too, you two would make an amazing team!!! Your doing an awesome job so far. 🦋🦋

Paint makes such a difference!!! I have LG appliances and was Gary weary of them, talked to several appliance repair people and lots of salespeople. They all told me LG had had their bug and had worked it all out. It’s why you won’t fine all the bells and whistles on them like so many. They are the problems. Love love love my LG dishwasher is was rated in the top five. It’s hard to choose, we LwYs want them to match. I did also just bought the new whirlpool washer and dryer they has the only two types of agitators. You will beyond love the floors!!!! 🦋🦋🦋

I’ve had two Frigidaire dishwashers, and was very unhappy with both of them. Not sure why I bought a second one. I just bought a Bosch for about the same price and absolutely love it! I have a whirl pool oven range and except for one minor wire that I have to tape underneath every two years it works like a charm. I also have a whirlpool dryer that’s working well but my Frigidaire freezer and side-by-side are working fine. It’s just a dishwasher that was not very good. I have a Samsung washer and it’s working fine too. But I have heard that LG kitchen appliances are not very good and I’ve heard that the Samsung kitchen appliances are not very good.
The white and white has inspired me, as my home is dark from porches and shade. Thank you!

If you want, take a peek at one of my videos and you can see but like you said it depends on your home and the lighting! Just throwing another color at you because you don’t have enough already 😂 You prob already picked though but it’s gonna look awesome no matter what!

I've had LG for a 6 years and it's never given me a problem it's in fantastic condition
I'm a new subscriber. I love the paint choices. Back in 2009/2010 I worked with my brother cleaning and fixing foreclosed homes in the Phoenix, AZ area for a company that would be leasing the homes. Alabaster reminds of the Swiss Coffee color that I could recognize on sight. It is a warm white. It looks like you used a gloss white for trim and eggshell for the walls. Love the floor choice. 🦋🙏🥰👍

I would get the new toilet and appliances after your floors are installed. That way you only have to install 1 toilet, 1wax ring. I love the white walls!!! I’m excited to be following your journey. 🦋

It's looking great Kelly!! I would have picked Alabaster too...I agree way too many whites to choose from!! I would have the floors done before you install appliances & new toilets...it will make it go much faster. They may have to move the toilets anyway...when I had mine done he was able to slide it under the toilet, but I would have preferred taking out the toilet. Either way you will need new wax rings FYI. I started watching your channel when you put the contact paper on kitchen countertops 😊🦋
So sorry to hear about the boys' dad. I hope he pulls through his surgery and treatments okay. I did not know that that house was so close to your mom's house and your property. If that's the case, I'd just leave your house where it is (do you own that property, too?) and save up some cash for a full custom built house on the vacant property. Maybe even put a relative's suite in the new house, move your mom in, and then you can either keep the two mobile homes as guest houses, or sell them both to buyers who will move them and build a backyard Oasis. Just some thoughts.
Oh, and remove the toilets, redo the bathroom floors, and then put the new toilets on the new flooring. 🦋🦋
Fresh paint to go with a fresh start must be so satisfying for you. Regarding the appliances….a Lowe’s appliance sales person told me that at every major holiday they have great sales on appliance packages. Might be worth checking out for savings. Will be praying for the boy’s father’s health. Thankful, that all is well at this time. 🦋

Just an idea if you don’t like the blue container, spray paint it! I have black ones and am spraying painting them silver for my wedding!
Regarding appliances, I would try and wait for maybe a Labor Day Sale? Sometimes Home Depot will have a sale if you buy multiple appliances. ALSO, if you have a Lowe's near you, they have a "Scratch and Dent" section with deeply discounted appliances. We got a dishwasher that had a VERY SMALL scratch on the side. It was supposed to be over $1K and we got it for $400.
Kelly definitely wait to get your appliances until you get your floors laid. As far appliances I will say this I bought my doublewide in 1996. It had GE appliances in it. The refrigerator went 6 years ago, but the ice maker was still working. My stove, the oven went about six months ago. I replaced both with GE’s. Now you seldom see them on display floors. At least not here in St. Aug. Fl. But Home Depot has them and I’m sure Lowe’s probably does. I just went to my local Home depot and ordered my stove and had it delivered and set up in 3 days. Of course I got another GE. My dishwasher still works too. And of course it’s a GE. I like the colors you picked. Shades of white makes things looks so much larger and brighter. Not that you need to make yours look any bigger. It is plenty big enough. So sorry to hear about your ex husband. I will be eagerly looking forward to all your home makeovers. 🦋🦋

I love the paint! You’ll want to hold off on appliances and toilets until they do the floors. They pull up toilets to put the floors down and the wax ring will have to be redone again. Better to just wait. Excited to see the house come together! 🦋🦋🦋

Love this!! Is this a mobile home too? Mobile homes are underrated. Some times they’re more upkeep seasonly but overall cheaper and just as great. So happy for you. Look into a luxury vinyl for flooring it’s cheap and very durable for kids/pets.

Paint really changed the look. A bit of DAP Paintable caulk filling in cracks and seams pre -paint also really help a more professional look. Your eye isn’t drawn to those tiny dark seams, and it disguises all kinds of blemishes.

Hey Kelly, Happy Sunday. How do you pick the colors that you want for your walls and furniture? There’s so many to choose from and I can’t ever pick a color pattern for anything. I can’t even pick the basic color to start the pattern. 😂 I would have to label the colors as well because I would forgot what color is what. How does your mom feel about you moving back into your own house with your kids soon? I’m so glad to hear that your ex husband is doing so much better and that the prayers have helped. ❤ I love the alabaster that you have picked for your walls and I can’t wait for you to add furniture. I use Bosch dishwasher. It is very quiet and cleans well.
I have a whole kitchen suite of LG appliances and have had them for about 15 years with no issues.

I remember when you did these counter tops, and I remember when you got your electric Kettle and touchless kitchen faucet. This looks so beautiful Kelly! I am so sorry about your ex-husband. I will be praying for him and healing. On a different note, I am sad I had to buy a new washer and the LG was on sale I am liking it so far. but I did buy 5-year insurance with it at Home Depot so hopefully we will be ok. Keep up the hard work and blessings to you and your babies able to fix up the home they have always known. I know my kids would be the same way.

Watching you remove the contact paper was like peeling a sunburn lol so satisfying lol. I love the paint colors you chose to go with! I would’ve chose the same combo 😊 With the flooring you can do either way 😊 If there are no appliances in place I would do the floors first just make sure to cover them with cardboard to protect them from getting damaged during delivery of anything lol & the toilet you can do either way too, you could have the old one removed & cover the hole during floor installation or set the new toilet & put the flooring around it 😊 It’s your & your installers preference lol. I love how bright it is in there already! 😀 You’re a step closer to being home again! 😀🤗🏡
