I'm a huge fan of Grammarly, have been using it for the past 4 years and it has improved my writing... although sometimes, I don't always agree with the suggestions, it's always good to have something to help you as you dig into your writing ;-)

Great video, Bella! Grammarly definitely isn't for everyone, but it is a great tool.

Thanks Bella, great breakdown of the software. It has convinced me to upgrade to the premium version because the FREE doesn't quite cut it! Thanks for the video!

I've been using Grammarly extension for a long time but haven't used the paid version ever. This is such a great video!

This was super helpful! I didn’t have any idea the full scope of what the paid version was capable of.

How can I be sure I am in the premium mode which I paid for and not in the free mode? When I up load a document the program states 88 mistakes and when you selcect show errors only 8 or so pop up? And why don't they have a contact number?

Hi Bella! Thanks for the video. I use the free version of Grammarly, and I've been satisfied. Sometimes it makes wrong suggestions, for instance with the plural of compound nouns, but it's really useful proofreading wise. However, I have doubts about the engagement rating for long-form writing. Engagement is part of the scorecard feature and assesses whether a text is "A bit bland" or "Engaging," etc. As I am an aspiring novelist about to send manuscripts, I sure would like to know whether the engagement rating of Grammarly is reliable. Thanks!

If I have already began writing a manuscript will Grammarly check what has already been written?

I paid $59.95 for 3 months premium and I only got 1 month.... They canceled my membership without an explanation of why.

    hi
I am weak in the English language, whether in grammar or vocabulary, and I would like to write articles in English, can I rely on the premium Grammarly after I have translated the article into Google Translate?

I thought I will try the pro version after trying the free add on. It was advertised that I can do 14 day trial. To my suprise they took the money straight away and not as a normal company would do after 14 days. I thought I will give it a go anyway. The difference between pro and free is... none. Unless my writing skills are so good I don't need it there was no difference between the two. The critical issues showing in free version simply disappeared in pro - even on the same unchanged text... When I approached them for a refund and explanation I got ignored. Do not waste your money, Word will do the same job.

    The correct sentence is :
Jacques Arnold has been a Member of Parliament since 1987.
My comment: The fact that Grammarly does not find the errors relating to English grammatical rules means that the application is a major scam, and it is my duty to expose it on social media to protect those who want to buy Grammarly from being misled.
