    Bought a Chevy Colorado Z71 duramax, and all I can say is that I'm very happy with it. I love it. Perfect size, fit on my garage, easy to park, and towing, amazing mpg...

    Great review. Thorough, nice pace and you really covered details that most other revoews gloss over.

    I'm in my fourth midsize GM truck. I had a 2007 , 2012, 2016 Colorado and now I have the 2017 GMC Canyon Denali. They have gotten better every year and I wouldn't even look at a Ford Nissan or Toyota truck.

      Do you still have your Canyon? How is it holding up? I really don't need another vehicle but there is a 2017 Canyon SLT on a local lot that I'm eyeing right now.

    Picked mine up on Friday. Black SLT Long Box, leather with Bose Premium sound. Awesome.

  • @Aschoolbusandsimulatorfan2219

    I love the GMC Canyon!! I might buy it bro.

    Last year, i test drove one. I found the smaller engine to be low power. But the most surprising thing was, the steering wheel was offset from the drivers seat. I cant remember which direction it was, but it was about 2 inches left or right of where it should have been.

    I know it doesnt matter much but I like how last years model was red accent lightning instead of the blue. Same with the new sierra

      It does matter. The dealer tried to push the 2016 on me but I wanted the blue interior lighting. Looks awesome at night.

    prefer the Denali. more leather, brushed aluminium, more sound dampening. class leading interior, class leading sound isolation, class leading connectivity, and class leading ride quality. love it.

      I would look at the Denali, but no black interior for me so thats done. Also, wish they would add smart entry w/ keyless start and blind spot monitoring and a power rear window, something that its competitor the Tacoma Limited has standard.

    I bought a 2017 canyon new, it is a problem truck! Transmission shuttlers and slips. Water leaks. Rusted quickly.

    nissan never left the midsize truck segment...

  • @andybub45
    @andybub45 Před 5 lety +1

    Seems like a decent truck, and may be worth a look. But the Tacoma is way more reliable, has better features, better performance, and is a better value. I heard these have transmission shutter issues which is enough to turn me away if this hasn't been fixed.

    With a 37K price tag I would rather just buy the full size Sierra.

    • @_DrDrakeRamoray
      @_DrDrakeRamoray Před 7 lety +7

      That gets you the base model Sierra. If you want full leather and all of the options on this truck than it's pushing close to 50K. I priced both before I bought the Canyon.

    0:06 While it's super dated, Nissan didn't abandon the segment either. The Frontier still lives.

      Some people are not interested in the base model trucks. Cause when you pay more money, you get more features. this is NOT the 80's.

      shawn washington you should. I love my Canyon. It's amazing at driving city street and it handles parking garages with ease. Couldn't have asked for a better vehicle. I'm not saying you need to trade in your Cherokee, but if you do, the Canyon should be on your list of vehicles to replace the Cherokee with
