Insta 360 one X - inline speed skating in trafic - Belgrade city skating

- Here is some of my first test's of Insta 360 one X camera while skating in Belgrade.
Sequence is raw from camera,
For speed gauge i used my Garmin fenix 5 Watch for recording skating data, and Garmin Virb editing program to sinc and show data on screen.
Fantastic!!! So many memories of days like this in London 1998- 2000, great times and great training.
How do you make an emergency stop??? I'd be scared to get plastered against the pavement by a vehicle.
Especially with no safety gear or helmet on.
Power stop. But if you feel confident with your skating skills you don’t even think about falling. Posibilites are the same as whatever other vehicle. And adrenaline is also probably the main thing, at least for me. Surrender to your destiny, we control nothing.🙃

Way more dangerous than riding a motorcycle..Going 40 km/hr without a helmet and guards on the main road is too risky even for professionals.
Everytime i see videos like these without helmets im like “yeah cool but not rlly”
Ye, suppose everyone can live their lives as they wish, but traumatic brain injuries from biking, skateboarding, electic scooters, motorcycles, snowboarding and so on are real and common, not something you can wish or argue away.
Like, I skate fast without my helmet on, on occasion, but I also know that it's irresponsible and against better judgement.
I also know people who were lucky enough to recover physically from such injuries, but are changed now, and probably forever: a little battered in the head.

It's not fake speed. I do this type of skating often and everything looks correct. For example, the average person cycles at around 13mph (21kph) and he is passing the cyclists easily.
why ice skates have velcro strap and inline skates buckle ?

I think inlines are generally higher off the ground so need more support but I'm not sure.
I think it's because plastic material is britle and stiff when cold, so velcro strap is more reliable for ice skate.
Modern inline skates are based off ski boots which uses a buckle system. Some ice skates use buckles too and some inline skates use velcro. So it depends on the designers.
