I think a wide Boyz dictionary is necessary. What are flying pirates and inverted torpedoes? I've been following this channel for years and I think that's the first time I've heard those terms!

Totally with you on this. Heard of the angry pirate (finish) but not the flying!
A flying pirate is like a half-whippled togglepull, but without the snare. An inverted torpedo is a regular torpedo but you grist your reflect inside the pyramid instead if outside.
My togglepulls are de-snared as a matter of principle but not whippling fully is going to take some practice. Need to work on my gristing. Thanks Peter for the clarifications.@@PeterTeal77

Climbing needs a new breath of fashion
I've never watched a Wide Boyz video I didn't love, but this is one of my favorites. I really enjoyed the split screen, which helped me see how Mary and Tom's techniques varied at crucial points. Tom's 'tache is better than Mary's, but Mary's core strength and absolute control is stunning. I'm convinced that she has 36 pack abs. And let's not even get into the fact that young Pete flashed this, and that Mari sent also. Four of the finest crack climbers of their generation doing what they do best. I love it!

I like how you placed the gear lower but clipped it when it was at your waist; thus avoiding the rope getting in the wsy of the jams; and reducing the possible length of a fall.

The thing that always got me about this kind of climbing (not that I was ever remotely this good at it) is just how you use every single muscle in your body. Like everything is exhausted at the end.
I laybacked every offwidth and squeeze chimney I could starting in the 60s. In America.
