I'm African-American, and i understand the native american way life is the way to live in harmony with nature. I have a garden, so i feel the connection with the trees, plants, animals, and the dirt. I don't use herbicides, pesticides, neither do i put inorganic fertilizer in the soil. I let the leaves from the trees, the bugs , worms, and microbes fertilize the soil itself. The fact that we are designed to breath in oxygen which the trees breath out. Shows that we'd suffocate to death in 2 minutes with out them. You can die a day or two without water. It take longer to starve to death. But with out plants and trees you'll suffocate every creature on earth in minutes.
Yes, Your right Money was never apart of the Indigenous way.I try to do my best. As my elders are all gone. I do cry from time to time and it's love that's all..missing out from the experience of an elder and family relations. All I can do is lead my little one into a responsible and clean life. Everything is spirit and yes we are all family this is my teaching to her, I know oneness and its connection with everything we see and don't see and everything we hear and don't hear. We the children for some are the elders for our children today . We are the new leaders too and can not get lost but find our way home, stand proud for our children. Wow... what I wouldn't give to live in those woods. So beautiful... it makes me so homesick. I miss the trees so much, I miss the ferns, and the thick mushrooms that would grow on the old trees like stepping stones, I miss the moss and the sounds and how every breath woke me up and made me feel alive. I wish I could have a bit of forest for me and my family to grow in. But I can't and that is where the true evils of money come into play. It isn't some world evil as much as it is that money has become the chain we are all bound by. Sometimes it is used to yank others around and sometimes it yanks you around, either way we are none of us free to live or we could just go out there, pick a plot of dirt, and plant our food.

I'd like to thank you for uploading this series. The Elders have told that one day the world would look to the first nation peoples across the globe for ancient wisdom. It's more important at this pivotal moment in history than ever before. I can only hope that those in power come to see and appreciate how difficult it was to preserve the knowledge and values while under constant oppression throughout history. We are not only all related, we are interconnected.

I had forgotten of those practices. I also believe that the main reason 'modern' society is in such a downward spiral is the loss, degradation, and discrediting of the most common and basic of tribal philosophy: respect. I think that we do change, every time man fails to work one, we eventually go into an ice age. those who learn how to get in touch with the earth and follow natures pattern continue and the ones who don't, don't. While I was smokin' last night I saw the smoke in a perfect flat cloud of smoke... then it left the room... It will be like this soon, then the Creator in the form of an Eagle is flyin around & grabs the last clump of dirt while all things disapear like sand outlines... but he grabs that last clump of dirt to start again sometime in the future, like the ending of one time to the next!

Chief, I respectfully disagree with one point where you say we are 1/2 light 1/2 dark. The GREAT SPIRIT designed us to be 100% light because we are made in Their image (how They appear) and after Their likeness (how They operate). Darkness cannot inhabit light simultaneously just as you cannot add black paint to white and expect it to remain pure; it turns into gray matter (the brain...my ideas, my opinions, my will, my way...). The presence of light expels all darkness. The GREAT SPIRIT has NO darkness in him AT ALL, so we too must operate in the same manner and reject all darkness and embrace the Light (the spirit). We must all remember that all of darkness cannot extinguish one candle burning in the night. May we each be that candle burning in this dark, twisted world. Amen.

I think that we do change, every time man fails to work one, we eventually go into an ice age. those who learn how to get in touch with the earth and follow natures pattern continue and the ones who don't, don't. It doesn't matter where we are from or what skin tone we have, its whoever gets it. Thats why if you understand now like i now do, then its up to you and me to not only live it.. but to teach others. As peaceful people we should keep patience and spread positive advice. Never give up...

While I was smokin' last night I saw the smoke in a perfect flat cloud of smoke... then it left the room... It will be like this soon, then the Creator in the form of an Eagle is flyin around & grabs the last clump of dirt while all things disapear like sand outlines... but he grabs that last clump of dirt to start again sometime in the future, like the ending of one time to the next!

Chief, I respectfully disagree with one point where you say we are 1/2 light 1/2 dark. The GREAT SPIRIT designed us to be 100% light because we are made in Their image (how They appear) and after Their likeness (how They operate). Darkness cannot inhabit light simultaneously just as you cannot add black paint to white and expect it to remain pure; it turns into gray matter (the brain...my ideas, my opinions, my will, my way...). The presence of light expels all darkness. The GREAT SPIRIT has NO darkness in him AT ALL, so we too must operate in the same manner and reject all darkness and embrace the Light (the spirit). We must all remember that all of darkness cannot extinguish one candle burning in the night. May we each be that candle burning in this dark, twisted world. Amen.
Its common sense, if you look inside yourself you are as wise.
