Please keep in mind that these are generally non-serviceable components and as such shouldn't really be messed with unless you really know what you are doing. Setting off the air bag accidentally is a distinct reality. If you're unsure, just don't mess with it.

thank you very much, I work there in my roadstar changing the big, steering wheel for a smaller sport steering wheel. The was a cable by the the Boss Kit for connect it, ( also place for put the ESP back )instead of the airbag and I used the cable conector of the Smart. I could not believe but it worked very well. Had a great time watching the "24 Le Mans" and take my time working on the SMart!

Great video! to test the horn circuit, if i press the horn i should get a closed circuit between pins 3 and 4, right? in the back of the clockspring plug. thks
