This isn't spoken about enough. People go on about the unrealistic expectations from women and how they should look, but people dont realise that guys care just as much about how they look.
Women can get plastic surgery etc, but guys will literally take drugs and put their lives on the line to look the best they can.
I've been out of shape and back in shape multiple times. I can say with confidence that I struggle to even shoe myself in front of others when I'm out of shape.

Dude I take concentrated testosterone shots due to a medical condition, and yes there are risks even for me, that's why before every shot I have to make blood tests to see if my liver is ok and my t levels are not above limit, also it can cause prostate cancer in the future, besides gyno, acne, testicle shrinkage, liver damage, overworking the heart and other crap.
Last time I even tried to hit the gym and try to cheat with some natural T boosters as well, man when I peaked I got ripped in only 2 months but could barely complete chest press sets with 50Kg and me being 100Kg

+Cmd Ctrl Yea usually it's a life time thing but not so much because of shut down, trt is such a low dose that it may happen slightly but not much.with Steroid doses that's an issue. When I stopped trt I was fine. but I started lifting weights and stopped drinking, and that helped my test levels a lot.

I eat super healthy as well as "estrogen blocking veggies", started taking melatonin and ZMA for better sleep, Workout 5 days a week, increased fat intake but really my issue was around ED; no morning wood, problems in the bed, etc. Not to mention I'm useless without coffee

it actually takes about 5-7 i would say. So he is not really over exaggerating. I am aesthetic bodybuilder batam weight competitor, so I have ton of friends who made it naturally (including myself), and they are on and off a bit but I would say it takes 10 years on average. (they are not in my division, way hugger)

I am a power lifter, 66 years old. I have been exercising since I was 15 years old. I have training as a power lifter and fitness for 40 years. I never use steroids and I am still healthy at my age. Body builder that is a difficult sport that is different from power lifter. Every bodybuilder wants to be big and muscular. He wants to train and he is already building good muscle mass, he has many chances to win bodybuilder competitions. I am a old school power lifter this is a modern bodybuilder and many bodybuilders use steroids.
Same goes for powerlifting. I know tons of powerlifters who actively use gear, especially leading up to competitions. Every sport has steroid use. Everyone wants to be the best in the world.
