Little did we know that when we were searching for a new Publisher's Clearing House (PCH) scammer to bait, we were about to encounter the absolute dumbest scammer, possibly the dumbest human, that has ever walked the earth.

Sadly a lot of scammers do target senior citizens; they see them as very naive and vulnerable. That's why so many scambaiters play elderly male and elderly female characters.

I disagree. He definitely sounded stoned AND stupid. However, I've heard some real dumb bells. Check out Johnson James at romance scams & online scams (I think it's the British lady) and her Johnson James was legendary!!! 😅

Some scammers have scamming as a full time job: very disturbing as they continue to fool and steal some people's money.

Thank you for watching! My character, Gladys, has evolved quite a bit since I started her. Scammers think she's an easy target only to get put through the ringer but they just can't stop. I like to play it cool and get them invested in their scam and then start to give them problems...the harder you set the hook, the more they will come back for punishment. :)

Many of my calls from PCH are from Jamaica
When you win a legitimate prize, no one asks you all these scammer's questions such as your bank balance, bank card numbers...etc. It is very sad that some people fall in such an obvious scam full of red flags!.
Yep, Jamaica is the hotspot for PCH scammers however I've been noticing more and more are picking it up from Africa. I can do a Jamaican accent and have a character who portrays a PCH scammer. I use it when I collab with other baiters to mess with the scammers more. In a couple instances, the scammers have even placed their trust in me; allowing me to secure critical information from them which I passed off to the authorities.

I’m afraid it is likely to always be from Jamaica. A bit of variety- Cuba, the Bahamas, Bermuda might not be a bad idea

since you're THE WINNER he doesn't know much about you. Have him mail you a cashier's check.
These PCH scammers typically ask for some kind of advanced payment (e.g. delivery fees, registration fees, tax payments, etc) before they claim they will send you a check or wire transfer. The strange thing about this scammer is that he has yet to ask for any money (I have a part 2 to this video coming where we spoke with him again). So far he was just phishing for private financial information. 🤷♂️

Why does everyone copy kitboga
What do you mean? By being an old woman character? Because they tend to entice scammers to bait themselves more readily on the perception that they have of women, especially in regard to the tech support scams.
If anything, all the scambaiting are copying the trends the scammers have demonstrated. Kitboga didn't invent that. The scammers set their own pattern. It makes sense to fall along with it if you're going to try to trick these scammers.

As long as people keep these scammers from stealing money it's all good and shouldn't bother you. Kitboga is not the first or the only person to do that and holds no monopoly. ScamSandwich, Rinoa Poison, Jim Browning, Pleasant Green, Scammer Payback, Doc Compton, Scamlock Holmes and hundreds of others do the right things and mess with scammers. Kinda silly complaint.
It's actually easier (for me anyway) to use a voice-changer and mimic an elderly female than it is to do an elderly male voice. There are some scambaiters though that do a great job with an elderly male voice.
Also...in the scammer hotspots, namely Jamaica, India, and African nations, females are treated like property. They are considered inferior to males. That makes females seem more vulnerable to them and hence are more likely to target an elderly female than an elderly male. There's a lot of psychology and social engineering that goes into a scambait.
Subscribing on CZcams doesn't cost you anything but it does help content creators judge how "successful" (for lack of a better term) and palatable their content is. If I watch someone's video and enjoy it, I always hit the subscribe button. I know the amount of hard work and time that goes into editing and preparing these videos and I appreciate their hard work. It's the least I can do to support them for giving me free entertainment.
My first thought was maybe he meant the sunglasses...lol. For what it's worth, mine are prescription so they help me see better and prevent me from getting headaches from the lights that are blaring down on us.
