Mario Kart Wii has a completely different way of handling online lag that I find much better, instead of being at the mercy of other people's clients for items hitting you (aka, items hitting you that aren't on your screen) in Wii the items only hit you if they're on your screen even if you're clearly hit on the other person's screen, this makes for interesting differences between all the players' races but also just has way more integrity than mk8's system. MKWii > mk8 forever 💯
