As an NBA fan that usually catch sleepers early, I have no clue how I slept on this kid. He's a blur with a shot and range and good handle(amongst so many other different talents). Really reminds me of Gil Arenas
Obviously, you never want this game to end the way it did as a 76ers fan, but this was a phenomenal game from Tyrese. The fact that he was considering not even playing due to illness but he knew he couldn’t miss this game for the world is the type of fight that Philly has missed in their players since Allen Iverson. I had never seen a player as dedicated as he was, until Maxey came along. Win or lose, he has shown us that he is willing to perform in any condition for the city. I know it’s a lot to ask of such a young guy but after going down 0-2, I can only hope that he, along with his team, can step it up to tie the series back at home. The truth is, he’s only going to get better and this is just the beginning. Let’s see what Mad Maxey and the Sixers have left in the tank for this playoff run!
