I knew a Fiipina that had a two-year long LDR with a guy in Hawaii. The guy had a great job, a 4-bedroom house, and a Lamborghini Gallardo (I saw the guy's social media and it seemed legit). Anyway, the guy would call her in the middle of the night, wake her up, and have "cam fun" with her often. He never did come to the Philippines to visit her, giving her excuses of "I can't afford to go there right now" and "I can't get time off work". I told her "You're being used by the guy. To him, you are just a girl that he can have fun with online for free." She refused to see the truth in it, and justified every excuse, even when I told her "B.S., I make a hell of a lot less than he does, and I flew over here to meet a woman. Also, everyone gets vacation time from their job." She eventually gave up on the guy, but never has admitted that she was used. Filipino Pride....

Brother, spitting all facts on this topic. If you’ve never met the person & only chatting online or video calling, you are simply chat buddies or pen pals. No way I would ever consider that a “relationship” or LDR. Believing otherwise is silly in my opinion. Yes, 100%, if you are broke then you shouldn’t be dating. You should be focused on improving your finances.

@@JasperinthePhilippines Because it’s not what a lot of guys want to hear & will get some panties in a knot 😂. Good to see a content creator being brutally honest about the Phils. 👍

LDR is no different than online gaming. Maybe 1% chance of anything romantic happening

LDR is great for Filipinas so they can get multiple sources of income.

If you’re in a LDR always video chat and set boundaries. Pack your bags and go. Don’t waste time, don’t send money, and look for someone who is not destitute. After a month, you should know if you’re dealing with a scammer. Also, all of these women have exes and high school crushes after them. Even the quiet ones. Don’t be naive and think you don’t have competition.

Your right LDR’s are just chat mates… I didn’t allow time to pass before I met the lady I was talking to… 2 months before I met her and I have been there 4 times a year since Covid…

What was the typical encounter when you got there? Did they flake (no fun in bed)? Semi-Pros who go with tourists every week or month? Were hoping for marriage and babies but you took off? Hope you can clarify. It's been awhile since I was there and that's mostly what I encountered before.

I have been loyal to my fiancé and knowing her family and her she is loyal also I stay a month each time I come. We are expecting our baby in December a year from my first visit. If your loyal your loyal no matter the distance between you in my most honest opinion.

Ldrs are tough, I agree if you don't meet you are just pen pals or chat buddies unfortunately. You have to make a move and do some action. Action speaks louder than words then you'll see how it goes

I assume that perhaps a lot of guys join foreign dating sites because they are bored with zero intention of ever really meeting anyone and certainly not visiting the country. I am surprised when filipinas have mentioned LDR's where they never meet the other guy despite being in contact for a couple of years. One girl told me her date worked in oil industry in Saudi, but didn't have the money to visit her in 2 years! I told her, they get lots of holidays, isn't more likely either he's lying or has to visit his wife but why waste your time?

  • @danielreid6041

I think it's an important way to get to know each other you can learn a lot about each other ultimately you need to go visit her bring her back to America to make money

So, there is a paradox I see while learning about Phils (traveling there for a looong stay in a month). That is, all of these women are very "traditional and conservative and looking for a serious relationship and marriage." But, they're all single moms. How do we reconcile this? Is birth control against the law there or something?

    • @JasperinthePhilippines
      @JasperinthePhilippines  Před měsícem

They are definitely not all traditional and conservative, especially not in the city. Some of them are breaking suckers, and some of them are teenage pregnancies in the province. Generally, a lot of them are not as loose as American. W*****

***All I can say is LDR Filipinas make the best female friends.😊
***Make sure you let her talk about all her LDR boyfriends.
***Mentor her and show her how to get some extra cash from her western union papis.
    It's a lot of fun.😂
***You aren't only a friend, you're ALSO her interior massage therapist. Or, you could call yourself her Minister of Interior Affairs😂😂
***Make sure they aren't married but give them all the therapy that they seek.
*****However, a guy who's in a LDR, has never met his Filipina and sends her money, deserves a certificate or a plaque of some sort.
    😂😂
