Here in the desert and getting a heat pump installed tomorrow morning. A heat pump...in the desert. Doesn't sound right ..😂 we'll see.
I agree with what you have said . Now I'm wondering if you have varible speed technology are you truly saving money in the summer time adjusting your temperatures. If you adjust your temperature down when you come home and that compressor that is running at 25% is now running at 100%. Are you truly saving money?
I wonder how many folks think they are saving money but aren’t?
More insulation and light blocking are cheaper in the long run than running AC harder. If the house keeps the heat from getting inside, I find it cheaper pre cool the house in cool morning when cheap, maintain mid-day when electricity cheaper, let temp rise in expensive hottest late afternoon, then lower the temp after evening electric rate drops.
Great ideas. The sun isn’t something some folks consider
I need an insight on air flow boosters. I live in an odd shape house and one side has very little air coming out of the vents.
Try closing other vents halfway and see if that pushes more air first. Booster fans are good but not an end all
You always suggest Dycon Fit for it's qualities. I'm a second home owner with a house in the Caribbean so I don't need the heating portion. Does Dycon offer mini split units specifically for hot areas. My home is cinder block concrete. Thanking you in advance.
Some countries don’t do as much ductwork like the US. Daikin does offer minisplits.
#2 would be nice if these guys would actually do the work😵💫🧐😫
