They sure do suck. We made the mistake of buying a Samsung gas range only a few years ago. Now everytime we try to cook something in the oven, after only about 20 or 30 minutes, we get an error code and the oven shuts itself down (the top burners still work though). Whoever thought the idea of attaching so many electronics to a stove? When you're cooking food, don't forget, the heat of the oven is cooking the fancy electronics on your stove as well. Who needs these electronics and error codes on their stoves, let alone why design the stove in such a way that the burnt out, faulty electronics can and will shut down your oven. If the electronics must malfunction, why must it have the ability to stop the oven from working, turning off the gas to the oven? Back in the 1970s-1980s, I recall all our old, non-digital stoves without the fancy electronics worked for decades. It was rare for someone's stove to break down for good. They sure didn't shut themselves down everytime you tried to use it. They either broke down for good (after decades of use), or they still worked. Those old gas stoves of the 1970s NEVER broke down, never stopped working after only a couple years of use. Maybe within a decade or two. But never within only a couple of years. Many times when someone wanted to buy and install a brand new kitchen stove, more often it was for aesthetic reasons. Not because the old one had broken down, which it usually hadn't. Next time I buy a gas stove, it's not going to be a Samsung, and regardless what brand it will be, it's not going to have all those fancy digital electronics attached to it (I know that's going to be hard to find).
The Government’s regulatory mandates require all of these ‘safety’ measures,or they cannot be sold here.Their complexity of operation is getting so rediculous,as there are dozens of electronic components, maybe purposely, used to control every function.I had to replace the oven pezieo-igniter after only two years.Who knows what will go next.
Two years and my Samsung range control panel/touch control has crapped out. I knew better before I bought, but still bought a stove with electronic controls. I will never buy another electronic stove ever, ever again. They make them that way (crappy) so you will be forced to spend gobs amount of money to fix or hey, just go buy another expensive stove after just two freaking years. I'm a gonna look for a used old style model from some other idiot fixing to "upgrade" to an electronic controlled range.
Same here, I found out its the whole electrical board on the back that's needs to be replace. That's only 300 dollars, and if that doesn't work it could be the heat sensor 150. 😢😢
Just taking the plug out of the wall outlet worked for me. Then I put the plug in a power bar, and I click it on and off from there. Were you able to switch it off?
Yup, it can lock up. If you have warranty, call them first. But if no warranty, it’s a short circuit. You have to open the display panel and use compress air to clean up whatever junk is causing the short circuit connection.
They sure do suck.

Yes, all good points. I still use the manual gas burners but the electronic stuff has crapped out.
The problem is, if you make something that lasts is not a good business model.
Well it kinda sucks but Samsung is better than apple🍎

Turn it off from the circuit breaker for 60 seconds and turn it back on. If issue persists contact samsung for service
Did it effing work or not? This video shows nothing.
Unplug it and wait several minutes to reboot
I have that exact Samsung oven and I've had it for 10 years with no issues, the igniter just went out and that's why I'm looking at videos
