- Hey everyone,
It is finally time to make more power in the S4... Well, almost... In todays episode we are doing everything we need to do to prepare the S4 for a proper tune. Every time I tune one of my cars I make sure to go through a checklist beforehand to make sure the car is actually ready for the added stress. I highly suggest you follow a similar process when preparing your car for more boost. Small issues can become even more of a problem when your car is tuned.

before i tune my car i did
intercooler, intake,turbo inlet, kw coilovers, mpi injectors, catch cans, ngk spark plugs, ob2 p3v3 gauge, and mid & down pipes, and dog bone mount

Don't worry there a plenty of nasty jobs on this car that are God level difficult. Removing exhaust heat shields to pull downpipes on the automatic is fun.
You get used to it after a while lol, I've had my 2.7 out my car and back in 3 times now in the past year and I have it swapped into my B7 A4. Last engine out job was a month ago to install my KO4s to get ready for my stage 3 tune when my injectors and intercoolers arrive
@Ryan Haynes Ya I'm decent at pulling the motor out on my Santorin but it impossible to not break plastics everytime. I am finishing a manual swap stage 3 and it's slow goin. If you have the right tools and a lift most jobs are not terrible on the B5. Putting everything back is like a weird tetris game. Those german engineers are having a good laugh at out expense I'm sure.
Do you have any pointers for doing the test pipe install and removing the stock pipes, that's exactly where I'm at with my car bc of the hole in my exhaust I bought the test pipes now I just need to remove the stock everything and go catless turbo back

and I feel your pain with trying to find interior parts. I have the same color interior on my B5 which I think is called "Ecru" and it's definitely a pain to find replacements.

did you know on the ecm pins you dont hvae to take the whole pin off you can just push down and it works try it out

What spark plugs did you go with? NGK 4644 V-Power Spark Plug - BKR7E?

I just did this tune up & mass air flows on my c5 rs6.. do you know if those ecs tuning braclets for coils are made for rs6?
Off the top of my head i'm not sure if ecs makes a bracket for the rs6. I do however know there are brackets that urotuning makes which are for each individual cylinder (I used them on my tt 225) and work with the red r8 coils. They might work if you get the icm/wiring kit too. I'm not 100% sure since I don't have that engine, but it could be worth looking into. That's such a dope car! Wish I could find one near me haha
i hope you went back and spliced that plug in properly with butt connectors at heat shrink at the very least.
This is an older episode haha. I've since went back and redid the wiring with the heat shrink connectors, thank you for the support!
