Where is Cross Progression for Apex Legends?

- Unlike the 120fps update for console, cross progression is well in the works and should hopefully be coming relatively soon. Here's what I think it will entail.

a question: Are we able to not merge the accounts. say i have a xbox account i want to move on pc but also a pc account on the same email would i be able to move my xbox account to pc andd not merge it with my other pc account
I built my pc in May 2022 thinking we’d have it by the end of the year like they promised. Here we are a year and a half later🤡
Honestly we all got "bamboozled" by that statement by josh madina.. he said at the end of 2021 what we would want to see in 2022 and listed cross progression as what they were already working on it.. he DID NOT say it was coming 2022 but honestly everyone reading that and channels like thordan smash and jmyels (not blaming the channels btw) were hyping it up like it was coming in 2022 when no one official at respawn gave an exact date.. I fell for it to tho and built my first gaming pc which honestly has been my main choice for playing games as I have upgraded it over time and also learned to build as well.. but anyway, Respawn has still yet to give an actual date but all the code in the files are getting the big channels hyped up and saying its coming either start of S18 or mid S18 or S19 start.. but i have hit a point where i will belive it when i see it from respawn
I'm a sucker for skins. Playing with all default skins just don't hit the same

I’m on the same boat as you , I had 5 heirlooms and … an embarrassing amount of skins. I don’t regret moving to pc at all it was a great purchase but I do miss all my nice shiny stuff :)
If I ever end up with shards on my pc account they’re gonna have to go to some random ass legend I don’t play cause I’ll be dammed if I don’t get reimbursed for buying twice

We've waited so damn long for cross progression, I better be able to get my 20 badges and ranked rewards from console to my PC. I either have all the stuff I fairly earned back in the beginning of the game but have a worse experience or play on PC but still don't get all that stuff I rightfully earned.
cross progression seems to be coming in season 19 according to leaks, I hope you are allowed to merge more than 2 acc cuz i have a lot of skins on my xbox acc and really cool ones on my laptop (side note alot of you say you had 4-8 heirlooms share some of that luck jees)

Hey broski I use nvidia shadow play. Main thing is a relatively high bitrate capture rate and a good rendering process
Also some of the lower quality clips were from outplayed but as you can see they didn’t provide the result I wanted

so im about to finish building my PC, and I'm just finding out about this should I not get apex on PC, (if I do id use my console account) should I wait till its cross prog is fully out? or just do the PC apex account with my email for my console.

I just Switched from playstation 4 to Xbox and left behind everything that i worked for and spent so much money on that ps account since the Apex came out😬 i really hope i can transfer my cosmetics at least someday 😭🤞🤭 that would be PERFECT and fair

My biggest problem is I play on switch and I have an Xbox but I have an heirloom on switch and 1600 kills on pathfinder I just need the better graphics

I had to move from nintendo to xbox lost my lvl 200 account and like 40 legendarys still annoyed to this day
I recently I got my heirloom on my ps5 account, I was 10k kills w Wraith...And recently, I got a pc tho and it´s a shame that I can´t use my heirloom and skins on pc. I don't care about the badges honestly, with some hard work I can get it again (4k and 20bomb).....But the skins that I spent my money and my heirloom, I DO CARE.
I hope that crossprogresion get released soon.
I do think that money spent on skins for sure should transfer but hard work for multiple animated masters badges, and all of the other badges, I would be heated if they don’t let those transfer

i got lucky on pc i packed a heirloom at like lvl 91 so it made me not care as much but i want my wraith heirloom again but i want all my skins i hate using the shitty iron sights and ugly default skins

This is a good example of why people THINK they want communication from game devs, but don’t ACTUALLY want it.
When Josh Medina made his announcement two years ago, it was at a time when people were arguably the most upset about a lack of communication from respawn. He finally gives some info on cross progression (probably against their better judgement just to appease fans), and everyone is happy for 10 minutes.
Then reality sets in and the development team realizes they’ve hit roadblocks that will prevent cross progression from being added for a long time. What are they supposed to do? Make an official announcement that their official announcement was wrong?
This is exactly why they were slow with communication in the first place, and it’s why they went back to it now.
Why wouldn’t we want a roadmap and an explanation for something as pivotal as cross progression. Yeah, I would want them to make an announcement and say that they ran into road blocks and give us another update
They already said they’re not doing cross progression, so I don’t know why you’re making a Clickbait video talking about it.

@@wattyswrldhe’s talkin about some wack interview from 2019 where a dev said it’s impossible based on how the games designed. But the devs have since gone back on that and made it clear it’s a goal. When? Who knows. But it’s inevitable as sooo many games that have a fraction of the player count of apex have implemented it after initial launch. So it’s been proven it’s doable in some form of merging or just picking an account to progress across all platforms

@@wattyswrld proof? respawn said it a few months back, when cross prog comes you will be able to log onto that account and choose if u wanna keep the current or your main account, the 2 accounts will not be merged or anything, u just gonna get the ps/xbox acc on pc and everything will transfer but not in the way of a merge

This is the route Respawn should have taken at first, but too many players got mad.
It's the exact type of cross prog Destiny 2 has, and it works fine
