I'm not going to care about AI until it can actually work with me to develop ideas. Yah sure it's cute that you can select a style and tempo and a couple other parameters and get some low grade stock music. Neat party trick but that's all it is. Once I have an AI plugin that I can drop in my daw, will analyze all the other tracks in my session, and generate melody and rhythm ideas in midi based on what I already recorded, then it will be game changing.

To all producers, be your own artist! The music should come from YOU, NOT an AI machine! The only benefit is that the quote from Michael Jackson "Don't write the music, let the music write itself" becomes way too literal lmao because youre not writing the music your getting the AI to write it and then not acknowledging the non-you AI parts! I dont reccomend using AI, do the work yourself thats what i think tbh because if people use AI and claim it's their work, that's gonna become one of the BIGGEST and evil producer problems of the music industry!
