this is a baseless idea or theory but i feel like screaming forest could either be referring to the way trees creak and groan in the wind but also i feel like it could be ab how the world is fucked up like the forests are being killed by people and pollution and shit. he says “dont look back as the earth dies” and “gasoline burn the pines” in i hail the night and “screaming forest where the wind cries” so it seems like maybe either of them or both
You MUST listen to Sematary x Ghost Mountain : "Worlds a fuck" , "The Wagoner" and "Silencer" fire old stuff with ghost mountain u will like it for sure.

Screaming Forest get's a lot of hate because it just honestly doesn't provide that much to the listener after RB3. A lot of songs have similar structures to previous songs. Ritual and Hockey Mask hook is basically the same thing as Murder Ride hook, and with less replayablility at the end of the day, Murder Ride provides more to the ears than both of those songs combined. I Hail the Night is one of Sematary's weakest openers that doesn't even come a lightyears distance close to God's Light Burns my Flesh. Kamakrazee (I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this) is actually pretty slow and boring, but the guitars are sick. Funnily enough, I think Redwoods is fine, and Spirits is like one of my top 15 hm songs atm. Screaming Forest is good still, it just doesn't have overall the same amount of replayability as other hm tapes.
