i think the reason so many people like the music is because it takes elements from witch house, black metal, trap, etc and mixes them all together. it’s interesting asf and it’s just cool lmao. also imo the lyrics have gotten worse since rb3 but i don’t think they’re thattt bad now, but the lyrics on grave house, rb1 and 2 are a lot better

So, look, in terms of vision, I actually kind of see the appeal in Haunted Mound. To me, at least, it seems like the whole point is to combine sonic tropes and aesthetics found in inner city areas a decade ago, primarily in Chicago with Chief Keef and Glo Gang, with sonic tropes and aesthetics found within poor, white rural communities. They aren't the first to try to make some of these aesthetics more relevant, with Bones and TeamSESH being a collective that comes to mind as pulling off something similar to this far, far better, but it seems like they're having fun with it, and I would say their sound has improved significantly. Looking forward to seeing where they go.
I don't hear the poor rural inspiration. I have lived in poverty in the middle of nowhere and right in the middle of the hood. But thanks for trying to explain it

Some people ain't built for it (vast majority of of the pits I was in were at metal shows) but I got into one at a X concert and it's two different types of moshing bro. At a metal concert if you are in the pit it is because you know how to mosh without seriously injuring anyone but from my experience the pits at the few rap shows I been too that had some shit that makes you wanna get buck usually is filled with a good number of people who think the point of a pit is to knockout/fight others in in the pit instead of the classic rule of "if you're in the pit and see someone on the ground help them up make sure they straight and get back to getting buck.
