My favorite thing I like watching with chickens is when you find a Beatle or some bug like a grub. Give it to the chickens and they chase each other around fighting for it.
I have a new appreciation for chickens. I think Steph, Brandon and kayson need to give these chickens some fruits and veggies on camera. Chickens love all veggies and fruits even peppers. Banana and bell peppers.

Yes, I live in East Texas also! Wind has been really strong between 39-60 mph! Still raining and windy at 8:00 pm!!

The water outside chicken coops must get very hot on hot days the sure loved the grass chickens love to scratch when you move the grass collet it and put into thier coops they will enjoy it as well love watching you's all on farm and the beautiful animals a chickens turkeys ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yeah. Hurricane Beryl came ashore last night in Sargent, Texas and went on to Houston. I’m in central Texas where we anticipated (much needed) rain. We’ve had some but so far not as expected. I hate to hear and see about the damage done by the hurricane. It’s heartbreaking. LiveStorm Media has a number of videos and of course Reed Timmer covered it or is still ? As he was stuck in Sargent.
Anyway, glad you are getting rain but yes, it would be great to have it spread the weather out a bit.

Hurricane Beryl...our power was off 12.5 hours in my h😂in Houston...just came back on...Thankful indeed...all 4 of my girls are still without power and internet and they live 50-130 miles from me

Just a suggestion…. You might try bringing pieces of raw carrot for a treat. That will help entice them to come to you easier.
No rain in eastern Washington State, but high temps. Was 98 today and the next two days will be over 100! I live further north in the state and we're not used to these temps!
That IS hot for there! I lived in Whidbey Island in the late 70’s and one day it got hot due to something in the high 80’s I believe. We were miserable. I’m from central Texas and we “know” heat. But lately the heat is really bad … just about everywhere!❤

It’s best to put the chlorine at night when the sun goes down because the sun depletes it. As well f you add a 1/4 cup of stabilizer each day with the chlorine you just need to test the chlorine daily and shouldn’t need to add it every day. I saved so much $$$ every year on chlorine by doing it that way.

It's obvious that the animals run from you, they don't like you.
Treats aren’t good for donkeys and you have to be very careful about not over feeding them
I don’t mind the rain but the tornados I do mind. I live in ar and the remains of the hurricane is bring tornados now.
Im in Houston and the hurricane went right over my house! I dont know how much rain we got but we havent had electricity since Monday morning about 4am, and theres no estimate when the power will be back on. There are over 2 million without power! Gas is running out, no ice to be found anywhere, most eating places have no power or have run out of food. Nobody is delivering food! Grocery stores are running out of stuff because of no freezers or refridgerated foods. Some are closed due to power outages. Its TERRIBLE!

Your looking a little pink out there Sis, please remember to use sunscreen cause you don't want your beautiful skin to start looking like leather. I can't get over how many babies Jerry has "fathered" 😉. Ya'll have chickens, turkey's etc. everywhere. Yes chickens love to scratch grass even hay to get the bugs in em. Have the kids pick grass fill those coops up. If u want. ❤😊

I haven’t seen bones on any of there animals. Maybe showtime but she had it rough at first as the people that sold her said she was weaned but she was to young. ❤
@@pamskyland4444 There is alot more to just cause you do not see any bones showing that they are getting fed enough. These animals have a lot of stuff going on that is not good. I would bet that none of them have been vaccinated or wormed or treated for parasites. The donkeys and ponies need their hooves trimmed and the goats all need their hooves trimmed too. They said they did it but all you have to do is look close and no they were not done.
@@sandrahayes2141 my reply was on the statement the they could b malnourished. They r not thin. I have been taking note on what has been and has not been done for their basic care. And have watched closely there feet. There may be things needed but there feet look ok that I have seen by watching close. There in a part of the country where they have very hard ground. It where’s down there feet more than parts of the country with softer ground. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t b preparing them with training for hoof trims and halter training. But I have watched there feet. Just because u feel it’s time doesn’t take into account that they’re on hard ground and wear them down naturally pretty well there.

We use to raise bantam chickens. We advertised in our farm market bulletin to sell them and would run out in just days. It was fun but a lot of work.

She tried walking into the goat pen once or twice with treats and they really mobbed her. It was wild. They would have to b in smaller groups to safely do it. ❤
