Morning of Owl is dominant as a crew. This is evident in their unique and amazing routines. They have won multiple major competitions this year, such as R16 and UK B-Boy Championships. However, as individual bboys, they are not as dominant. You can argue Pocket is the most dominant powerhead, but that alone will not win a bboy competition, unless its WPS. With that said, that's how they lost the tiebreaker. Also, I feel that the judges might have seen a lot of MOO's routine in other battles and were not as impressed.

morning of owl might be using different styles then clean bboying, but everything is an evolution. Bboying dident have certain moves untill the past years, some are invented others are perfected... Clearly MOO had more style, flow, skill, attitude and power then the russians... Imo the russians looked like newbs

Siracusa Foertune Russia has alot of style, really clean, really good overall bboys, Top 9 crew is one of the best in the world, an im not just sayin that, you have to know alot about bboyin before you can say someone STINKS cause he all sucked at one time when your a bboy Morning of Owl is a good crew but overall they cant match Top 9.

To me, I feel as if top 9 was dominating the flow of the battle making MOO play there game. However morning of owl took the battle. But top 9 won both tie breakers. There shouldn't have even been a tie.

Robin must have felt like a million bucks after that tie break. He had moves, stamina, was on beat, on rhythm, and knew it the whole time. As much as I've loved MoO's evolution the last year or so, they had nothing that could beat Robin's final set - straight up on fire.

I was there it was really a great final ! Pocket is getting better and better no matter what some people say about his sets being the same (which I think is not true).
Too bad Morning of Owl didn't win this battle, each B-Boy in their crew is really unique and their routines were awesome. ( I remember the crowd went crazy after each of MOO's set )

Bboying in a football field size area. A looooooooooot of room per solo. Enough for massive choreography. I reallize this myght be for spectators better view. It's about optimal choice. Am I only one that thinks when crews are that far away from each other battle looses flava. I dig that space is very valuable for a bboy, but damn in some parts it looks like tha bboy dancing is lonely on a stage :DD It bugs me. Loosing connection and intrigue...
you're right. but powerheads like pocket need a lot of space while doing his moves. you can see him crashing into the judges when the stage is small. sure it doesn't have the cypher feel that a lot of people would prefer, but i think it's the best choice to have a big stage

This was a interesting battle. Morning Of Owl is a very experimental crew who have been getting heat, because many ppl don't classify them as a "pure" b-boy crew. Then you have top 9, a very well rounded crew with members with different styles but stresses foundation. Robin pointing to the breakin sign is significant because b-boying is getting more proggresive, but it's straying too far from the essence. Yeah Morning of the Owl are pleasing on the eye but top 9 just give me more b-boy attributes
