- Made using audio from Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, I matched the Clone Wars voices of Anakin (Matt Lanter), Obi Wan (James Arnold Taylor), Padme (Catherine Taber), Yoda (Tom Kane), Mace Windu (TC Carson), Count Dooku (Corey Burton), Jar Jar (Phil LaMarr) & Jango Fett (Dee Bradley Baker) to their corresponding film scenes.

James Arnold Taylor absolutely smashed his Obi-Wan voice. Mad respect for him
Unpopular opinion: James Arnold Taylor is a better Obi-Wan than Ewan McGregor.
Edit: It appears that I've sparked a war in the comment section with my stance here, so let me explain. I'm not saying I don't like Ewan McGregor, I think he's a gifted actor and does a good job portraying the character. (The Kenobi show is proof enough of that)
Personally, I just think that JAT's take on his character has more to it. Perhaps this is a combination of his acting and Filoni's writing. Regardless, they're both talented men who deserve nothing but the utmost respect for what they bring to the table.
@@TheAnimationConnoisseur You're really cringe.
@@TheAnimationConnoisseur true I like his voice
@@TheAnimationConnoisseur and you offically crossed the line there buddy
@@TheAnimationConnoisseur ???????????????
I really like how Dee Bradley Baker did a Temura Morrison impression over his otherwise usual clone voice.
Kinda helps the bridge between live action and animated clones
@@frumpleskilstonanimations2409 facts
I noticed that too
Yeah his range is crazy good. The clones in the show usually have a very friendly tone (duh) so hearing him use that voice for intimidation was great.
Yeah I noticed that ! Honestly I love it tbh itâs the perfect mix of prequels and clone wars together
Matt is clearly trying his best to imitate Hayden's speech patterns but his voice is just so much deeper than Hayden's was back then. Funnily enough, Hayden sounds a lot like Matt now when he isn't speaking as Anakin
Very true ! Matt never convinced me as Anakin !
Watching Obi-Wan Kenobi I noticed Hayden sounds somewhat like Matt when he says âWhich is why youâre gonna lose!â during their training flashback.
He also sound more like Matt during all of his scenes in Ahsoka.
@@Scotty-Doo626 I think that's intentional, either on Hayden's part or the director's in order to make Anakin's portrayal's more consistent regardless of who's in the role.
@@azareloropeza3261 That doesn't make any sense. Matt Lanter was never trying to imitate Hayden Christensen. He brought his own approach to the character of Anakin Skywalker, and clearly, it worked. Obviously, George Lucas didn't want someone who was just going to do an impression of Hayden either, or he wouldn't have chosen Matt in the first place. He could have chosen the guy who voiced Anakin in the Clone Wars miniseries, since that voice actor *_was_* trying to do an impression of Hayden. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Hayden's doing considering the interest he's shown in the character since coming back to the franchise.
Iâll always prefer Haydenâs portrayal.
Mattâs just feels so off with Anakinâs age and the way heâs portrayed in the movies.
Christopher Lee is a legend but the voice actor from the clone wars did a great job
*did a better job
@@theanimehub2180 Well, Lee was in his 80âs when he filmed these movies. So thereâs that
@@theanimehub2180 Nah theyâre both great in their own way.
You mean Corey Burton? He has a spectacular voice range is a wonderful Disney legend, and he's amazing as Count Dooku and Cad Bane!

@Michael Kiely Why is he the only one then, everyone else is at least trying. Heâs a good voice actor but has a terrible voice range.
It's crazy how well they work with these scenes
well I don't play the game, but I believe that it's supposed to be recreations of these scenes, that's why they work well
TCW dooku and padme's voice feels a little off coming from christopher lee and natalie portman but otherwise I agree

@@evelynong3483 Yep, they were pretty far to have the voice lines faithful to the movies. Of course, the game is a bit of a meme, so the actual scenes are sometimes *very* sped up, different, joked around with etc.

Damn the actors really nailed it, when they were recording for Lego Star Wars they must have been watching the original footage because they nailed the lip syncing.
For the attack of the clones ones I actually had to do quite a bit of retiming on some clips. But the Revenge of the Sith lines were almost spot on every time.
Problem is that anakin is 17 or so and he sounds like he is 30
@@CinematicCaptures Ah makes more sense, your sound mixing was so good I didn't notice hahaha
I think Shelby Young who voiced Leia mentioned when they were recording they would play the original audio before doing a take.

I just love Samuel L. Jackson's impression of Samuel L. Jackson! He absolutely nailed the voice!
No, this was TC Carson voicing Mace Windu.
@@ECSOrder66 Yeah, but TC and SLJ alternated voicing Mace as the show went on, so technically SLJ is one of the Clone Wars voice actors
@@officialmonarchmusic Well Samuel L Jackson only did Mace in the Clone Wars movie and not the show.
@@Sorcerer-SMCIâm pretty sure Samuel L Jackson did a few episodes. I could be wrong, but I thought it was like Jar Jar, only Samuel L Jackson rarely voiced the character, as opposed to Ahmed Best, who voiced the character in MOST but not all episodes
its Kratos bro
Absolutely nuts how how fitting it is. Matt's Anakin feels more realistic delivery wise to someone as brash as Anakin, but Hayden's visuals are intense which fits.
Hayden feels more of a younger frustrated voice which was the definitly the Anakin in movie, Matt feels more confident and cocky which fits clone wars anakin. Strange how the same character feels okay with two styles of voices, I guess it just what fits the media
I think he sounds a bit older? But i mean im fine with it
@@actually-will1606 i think matts anakin sounds better considering how darth vader sounds.
Matt's voice makes the tragedy hurt even more. He sounds more trusting, friendly, and good-hearted. Much more like a good guy. Hayden's acting was great, but again, Matt's noble voice just makes the ending events cut deeper.
@@jonahmordhaim2705 That shouldnt mean much, technology can change anyone's voice
What I find super amazing is the subtle change that James Arnold Taylor makes in his voice. Obviously he's been voicing Obi-Wan Kenobi for damn near 20 years at this point and has the voice nailed, but his Attack of the Clones Obi-Wan here sounds specifically like his Attack of the Clones Obi-Wan from the Genndy Tartokovsky mini series in 2003, and there's almost a flatness to it that The Clone Wars and even this game's Revenge of the Sith levels doesn't have.
I actually prefer James Arnold Taylorâs voice in the Tartakovsky Clone Wars over the 3D Clone Wars sometimes - it had a gentler and softer tone which conveyed serious scenes quite well, while his voice in the 3D series was more humourous and trollish.
Both good but I like his gentler voice a tiny bit more.
We need like a 4 hour cut of attack of the clones and revenge of the sith together with the clone wars cast to dub đ but on a real note, bless Tom Kane the voice actor for Yoda.

Iâd love to see the movies animated in clone wars style as well. Now that we have voice lines I need it more than ever
Great idea!
Iâve always wanted to see Maul in his Phantom Menace outfit Clone Wars style.
They need to just make the prequels with these actors, slightly better dialogue & in clone wars animation
They'd either need to keep Frank Oz or find a new Yoda. Tom Kane had a stroke and is unable to speak for the foreseeable future :/
@@cyanimation1605 didnât Tom Kane voice yoda and qui-gon in the Skywalker saga?
Everyone either sounds identical or really close, and even this time Dee does a really good Jango(still not perfect but it fooled me at first). Then there's Matt Lanter's soft reboot Anakin. lol.
Matt Lanter is the worst of the bunch. Dee Bradly at times sounds like Jango but then just sounds like Rex
I agree Matt Lanter is the worst but Catherine is not that good as Padme either
@@Starwarsgames66 Well Dee Bradly sounds Australian instead of Kiwi and doesnât have that raspy hardened voice Temura Morrison has
@@seriousnesstv7902 Matt Lantern isn't the worst. He's the least like the original but his voice is an improvement over Hayden's tbh
@@BthIX Thatâs your opinion and itâs fine but I think Hayden sounds more innocent like and childish. Matt sounds to mature, is voice also just feels off. The delivery of Hayden is so underrated because he goes from innocent and fearful to vengeful and murderous.
i think the reason people want a clone wars stlye revenge of the sith is because the characters in the show were actually very fleshed out compared to their movie counterparts
Well yeah, it's much easier to flesh out characters when you have several seasons to do so as opposed to just a handful of movies.
@@StarMarshal true. I do like anakins voice in the clone wars comoared to the movies.

As Tom Kane's final role, I feel humbled that Yoda in Skywalker Saga was the one. He has done Yoda ever since 2003. It's a shame we will never hear his powerful voice ever again.
Thank you Mr Kane. Enjoy your retirement as much as you can. You've earned it.
Itâs hard to imagine Jango sounding like the clones from the show, just like how itâs hard to imagine that the clones from the show are all meant to look like Jango. They even show a picture of Jango in the series as some point and itâs strange to imagine thatâs actually what he looks like in the show.
Itâs not that hard to imagine tbh
when did they show a picture of Jango Fett?
@@priyapepsi I can't remember which episode exactly, but one of the episodes on Kamino, when talking about using the DNA of Jango Fett, they have a hologram of his face appear.
@@priyapepsi when Ventress tries to steal the DNA thereâs a hologram of him, and later when Fives was doing research on the inhibitor chip an image of Jango is on a screen.
I love Dee Bradley Baker, he never fails to impress me. I absolutely love him as the clone troopers, but I think Temuera Morrison fits Jango and Boba better.
Yeah, Dee is very good, but even in the Force Unleashed he just does a standard voice for Boba Fett. Jango and Boba are far fiercer than the standard clones and Morrison even said how Filoni asked him to do the gravely voice for Boba in Mando and BOBF. I'm sure Dee is capable of it, so it' s a bit weird why he doesn't make the voice more hoarse for Jango and Boba.
You nailed it... people are asking to see Captain Rex played by Tem in the Ahsoka show, but honestly, I'm not sure if Tem could capture the vibe of Rex from the animated shows.
@@nahor88 yes, he could. Take a look at lines from boss from Republic commando and the humour there or take a look at his real life personality which is basically rex and gregor mixed together. Do not judge based on pre personality prequel clones, or boba and jango who are meant to be totally serious. Boss is what you will get as that's when they decided to actually start giving them some personalities.

Dookus' voices: aged and smooth like butter from a prime cut of Wagyu beef. The six-year development was worth it.
Especially with both Corey Burton (Zeus) and TC Carson (Kratos) together in the same scene. Kind of like a spiritual reunion.
James Arnold Taylor's Obi-Wan has always been amazing and 100% on-point
Everyone talks about how good Obi Wa s voice is but Dooku and Mace Windu are uncanny! The clone wars voice actors are truly amazing!
I think everyone did a fantastic job with this. I really grew to like Matt Lanter as Anakin, and now that I have the chance to directly compare him, I still stand by that. And of course, James Arnold Taylor hits it out of the park as always. Love Dee Bradley Baker, but I'll admit he doesn't have the same effect as the awesome deep voice of Temuera Morrison.
the thing i think defeats switching the voices over is that haydens face is less expressive with his acting compared to the voice, nothing wrong with how he acts but i have a feeling if he was more expressive it would fit a lot better.
I love both but I cannot STAND Temuera Morrison as the clones anymore than I can stand Dee Bradley Baker as one of the Fetts. They both do great for their own chosen parts though.
Before he passed away, Christopher Lee said he was very impressed by Corey Burton's voice actor work as Count Dookuđą
How is it possible for Corey Burton to have such a cool voice?
homie is just that talented
Seeing/hearing Dee Bradley Baker voice Jango is so awesome
Hearing Matt Lnaters voice whilst looking at Hayden Christensen feels so weird. Like in Battlefront
The guy who did Winduâs voice killed it.

Hearing Matt Lanter's lines makes Anakin a lot more bearable here
Anakin is bearable already
They don't fit.
Doesn't fit for me... Hayden is supposed to play a more emotional anakin, and Lanter plays general skywalker.
The other video on Revenge of the Sith sounds more natural. The Clone Wars voice actor for the pre-Clone Wars Anakin honestly doesn't fit.
I think Matt voice fits Hayden in Revenge of the Sith while the Attack of the Clones regular voice fits fine as if he's still young
These are so good. I hope someone could animate these scenes using these voice lines
Very well done! I love this and it helps put the voice actors choices into perspective in trying to emulate their film counterparts
I really love how well this feels and suits the movie
Jar Jar didn't even need to be changed since they got the actual voice of Jar Jar for the series.
Well in the game they had Phil LaMarr, but in the Clone Wars TV show they had Phil LaMarr and Ahmed Best
The voice actors had to have been matching the cadence with the scene, thereâs no way they recreated the timing so perfectly if they didnât. I love this

Yeah unfortunately toms retired now due to his stroke this game is his last project sadly
Sadly, you're incorrect. He recorded all of his lines for the game BEFORE he had his stroke, not after.
Even if I am not a huge fan of TCW I will give mad respect to the voice actors for such a good job, this makes it pretty clear how well they did

The most unbelievable part of this movie was that the Jedi seemed unaware of the existence of Jango Fett up until then. Its not like he was just some ordinary bounty hunter, he killed a lot of Jedi.
The Jedi are very foolish, most don't seem to know too much of their own history nor are they good teachers. Obi-Wan did a horrible job training Anakin

Could you imagine if someone reanimated the whole movie to look like Clone Wars?
They all sound okay, and I loooove every clone voice ever because I love clones and they do it all good, also voicing more characters then anyone else, but I really miss Temuera Morrisons voice, he has such a beautiful new zealandian accent which makes Jango, Boba and The Clones so special, like they're a different culture from Mandalore, just like Obi-Wan speaks british english which is seen as an accent in Star Wars too :333 I'm happy that in my native languange, german, every character was voiced by the ones who also voice them in the films
