You start living the day you learn to say NO without feeling guilty or making excuses.
We are the company we mostly keep as with time our habits rub off on one another. Hang around people who are better than you and you will acquire their habits. Glad to know this, this early.

I just stumbled upon your channel and i have been binge watching furiously. I am 21, still in campus and i just figured out that i am still hanging on to those meaningless relationships from high school. But thanks to this life class i know better. Thank you Caroline, my generation needs more people like you.
In my life I have always closed doors for new ones to open - with new friends and acquaintances moving on with even fewer from previous regime..... just that I never had or thought of it that. Thank you for giving me the expression, elevation requires separation. Very true indeed!

This is so true! am one of those people who believe friendship doesn't just happen, its a choice..... so how and on whom I invest my time, is a decision I got to make wisely because it does have consequences in terms of the returns I will get . if somehow our paths separate and you choose to believe that you were not good enough for me as opposed to me not being good enough for you.....so be it!

Iam 25 needed to hear this one teared up a bit thinking of letting go of a lot of things to make progress in life I honestly don't want 30 to find me still without a plan jumping around aimlessly in clubs and dealing with financial difficulties Iam at that point where my future is screaming at me n wondering what exact steps to take ...

I thank God for you coz you are like a mind reader or should i say ,you know just the right time to say what you say.....just the other day i set a date to launch my photography and guess what with all the friends i knew wale wa "tulikua na yeye high school,hawezi kosa kukam" are the ones who didn't show up, i so cried the whole night knowing i don't have friends and everybody hates me and they don't value me ...but now i truly get it coz actually the people in my life right now or rather the friends i have right now are the ones to ask me, have you filed tax returns?, or have you checked out the latest bills or bonds?.....and with this video that kaguilt of "aki ma beste wangu wa haaeeskul " is like soooo gone ..Thanks A bunch Caroline

Elevation requires separation, say it again! You cannot become great by being ordinary. You have to be unafraid to separate yourself from the herd. Leave the herd!
