    Love your videos. Very complete explanation. We purchased our 2017 International Serenity 23D from Nick May 2017. We LOVE it. 15 K miles so far and no major problems. You guys rock. The 23D (now the 23CB) is the BEST floorplan for living space in a smaller Airstream. Pulls easy, backs easy. We modified our bathroom door in our 2017 to accomplish extra room without split door. The split door in the newer model gave us the idea. Airstream, when only the best will do! There is no substitute.

    You have the best Airstream walk through videos! When we bought our 2015 23D (same floor plan as this 23CB ) our dealer did a great walkthrough but we were so excited we forgot a lot that they tell you. Your videos can be watched over and over and you go into such detail on every aspect of the functionality of all the systems, and it really helps when we have questions and cannot remember what we were told. Every time I watch one of your videos if makes me more positive that Airstream is the best built camper out there. I am ready to upgrade and told my husband we needed to make the drive to Colonial since you have such great inventory and there would be a lot to choose from. You may just see us soon!

    I understand comments from people who don't like the size of the corner bed and prefer the front bed model, but I saw this 23CB in a west coast dealer showroom and was just blown away by the vibe in that dining area with the extra windows. I personally don't care for the dinette setup in the FB version and I think this 23 foot CB is the perfect floor plan for a couple. Lucky they make both! If I lived east of the Mississippi I would for sure buy from Colonial. Thank you for the video. Impossible to watch it without thinking bout Everybody Loves Raymond though :)

    It's a lovely travel trailer however I think I prefer the 23FB. This one has too narrow a bed for me. 23FB has a wider bed and I think a small amount of room around the bed which makes the bed space less constrained. 23FB also has larger toilet and shower room which goes across the back of the trailer. It's a very nice arrangement.
    The 23CB does have seating in the wrap around window at the front, which I like, but the 23FB advantages outweigh that for me.
    It is an excellent walk through by Patrick. I always enjoy them! Thank you.
    I'd love to see the Globetrotter interior available in the 23FB layout.

    Patrick needs to make a Siri for Airstream mounted in the trailer. Except Siri. call it Patrick.. If the owner has a problem he simply gets in front of the device and says 'Patrick My water is not coming out from faucet what do I check first".. then Patrick gives the answer and so forth on any problems.. This would be the greatest technology ever on a camper!

    That origami bathroom door is a really smart design solution! I wish there was a way to run the A/C when not plugged in tho. Places like Arizona can be deathly hot. I feel like an auxiliary generator in the bed of a pickup would get stolen quickly, so it would be nice to have a small gas or propane generator built into the trailer itself.

    What a great presentation. Is it possible to not have that bench extension in the living area? The booth is plenty for a couple. Is there anything under that bench that is critical like water or electric? We would much rather have additional storage or just open space if possible. The other models that do that have the bed in the front by the tow hitch, which we do not want. Also, is there anything that can protect the windows on the highway from being damaged from rocks and other hard debris kicked up by other vehicles?

    44:45 When you show the rear bumper skids, which I assume would be the areas that would drag on the ground on steep driveways, why don't they put a pair of rolling wheels there that would roll instead of drag?

    • @colonialairstream
      @colonialairstream  Před 5 lety +1

      The wheels would be too low and would cause the frame to flex and buckle the body. In the 80's people used to add them and it caused damage. This skids work good.

    • @sanfranciscobay
      @sanfranciscobay Před 5 lety

      People with nice homes don't like permanent skid/scratch marks on their concrete driveways, that is why I thought wheels would be a better idea.

    Patrick, in every video you remind owners to go outside and open the hood vent 25:43. Why isn't there some sort of inside lever for that? A pushrod or bell crank would not add a significant cost to trailers in this price range. Even the new Classic requires you to go outside, perhaps in inclement weather to open it up.

      Hi we have this model and when we have had problems any kind of service for example the heater wasn’t kicking on we call any airstream dealer they explain what to do so in this case they told us to check the circuit breaker inside the heater itself we unscrewed the outside panel and there was another circuit breaker we reset it and tried turning it back on before screwing the panel back on and it worked so airstream is ready to help not only where you purchased it you can call any airstream . We called Patrick and told him we found our flying cloud could he match the price and he could not do it . As a matter of fact he said if you could get it at that price buy it.so we went ahead and purchased our flying cloud 23 cb from Bay Area Airstream . Our salesman was Steve Crawford. They gave us excellent service. Our interior is truffle color. Wherever you travel with an airstream there is great conversation ❤️

      Saying foot instead of feet is folky speak, and I like it. It is common to use the word "foot" when describing the measurement of a particular item (5ft. frig.) when the item/object is named "after" the measurement (5ft. "board" ) ... but when the object is mentioned "first" you'd say "feet" (the "room" is feet long). 😏 just sayin." Craftsmen speak this way more than a pencil pusher would. Have a great day.

    Please don’t refer to that Bronco as a MidSize SUV

      I wish they would add that to the floorplan views like other manufacturers instead of making you dig. The do list it as 60x75.

      Josie, take a good look at every other brand out there. We did for 2 years. If you want a travel trailer that will last you a lifetime and then be able to pass it on to your children, there is only one brand to buy, AIRSTREAM. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. We purchased 2017 International Serenity 23D. LOVE IT!
