This won’t fix anything because they still haven’t addressed the elephant in the room: actually showing posts to followers. I rarely see posts from the accounts i follow. Meta is ridiculous

It seems as though many people now are just watching videos and liking rather than following accounts. Whats the need to follow an account when their feed will be loaded with videos that are enticing to them and catch their attention anyways. When reels first came out it was new and refreshing and that’s when most people were able to get their followers. Its definitely more difficult now a days

Personally I have lost count of the times explore is just filled with the same content reposted from many different accounts (normally not by the original creator). Hence for me I go, "explore = repeative content probably already seen before", hence I rarely use it. Hence I am hoping this update fixes that.
I think it will affect only reels for the moment. Some theme pages do carousel post and post a image they made as the first image and then other people's content, AI will not recognize that for sure

@@zoeyy504 But many (including me) don't like that feature, because each creator has its own dynamics and way of posting. It also forces you to coordinate with the other creator. And if you work with many other creators, that becomes really limiting. Just as an example, if you're a photographer and two models you've worked with want to post a pic by you the same day, would you want to post a collab with each one the same day? Or tell one of them to wait until next day? Etc. You know what I mean? I personally think that collab is not such a great feature to use so often or as an obligation 😢
Btw, I wonder what if you repost your own content? Will you be in trouble? Speaking of the Gram robots, I had a completely harmless post removed in July 2023 (a Beetlejuice makeup look with a neutral plants background, none of the videos with it were removed), so I submitted an appeal and it's been pending SINCE JULY. 🤦♀
My reach is so fucking sad. I have 16k followers and used to get lots of likes and now… it’s just bad. My post reach 2k at most. I used to get 2k likes on pics :/

I know it's harder these days but I'm also tired of creators complaining about not getting any engagement because at the end of the day you have to stay fresh and keep updating your content just like these platforms. You don't get to coast after having some success. If your content isn't performing, do something different. What was interesting a year or two ago might not be anymore. I definitely think the small creator has been hurt by these platforms but also, I'm tired of people blaming the platforms and not looking inward. If you can't handle the ups and downs get a stable job bc this industry will never be consistent.

Worried point is, If I got viral with remix content and get viewers.. Does it flow to Original Creator? If that happen, Why shoud I use remix AT ALL?
