  • This cake consists of layers of the softest sponge ever, chestnut cream, chestnut jam, and of course a TON of fresh chestnuts. Give this recipe a shot and let me know how you like it.
    Extra Soft Sponge:
    Milk: 18g
    Butter: 64g
    Large eggs: 8
    Sugar: 49g
    Flour: 90g
    Soaking Syrup:
    Sugar: 50g
    Water: 100g
    Chestnut Cream:
    Heavy cream: 500g
    Chestnut puree: 175g
    Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
    You will also need 200g or chestnuts.
