As a medical student this has been my life for almost 6 yrs now. Me and my husband live continents apart and we have pretty much lived our life together on phone (eating, sleeping, shopping), whatever i could cram into the little time I have. Difference of time zone makes it extremely hard to stay connected and do activities together, but one of us would stay up late to talk. I agree, love is in the smallest of things. Hoping, this will be the last year we have to live apart from each other and even when we are together, I will try and keep cherishing little things.

This is so accurate and cute! My boyfriend and I have been doing long-distance for two years now and it does sometimes suck. But the silver lining is that we do awesome things when we do get to be together, we surprise eachother often, we trust eachother completely and even making a digital movie night feels special.

My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for over 3 years now, usually seeing each other once a month. Now because of Covid we haven't seen each other in 3 months and we don't know when will be the next time
@@natascha8028 yeah that can be really tough sometimes.. But we just have to be patient and have faith that sometime soon the boarders will open again and flights will happen again. And luckily we have the option nowadays to video call and be in touch all the time. We have to stay positive :)

This reminds me of my favorite person and I spending all our time together. With the time difference sometimes we would have the call going for 24 hours, she would go to sleep and I would go to sleep as she woke up in the morning. My heart felt so warm all day, I couldn’t stop smiling!

i don't want to tell you how because it's better not to have relationships before marriage, so try to find a partner but in a formal manner when you are mature enough, as a teenager, i suggest you to focus on your career until you become an adult, if you're ready, then you can find one through your contacts or through groups with similar tastes, like Facebook groups or i don't see any other platform which can gather random strangers, but if you find the person you like, you have to be patient for the ldr, and accept their faults and try to make them a better person, until you are able to.
You shouldn't wait until finishing your career, you'll spend the best years of your life alone, you can enjoy both sides of the coin, studying and having a romantic relationship. For me it was casual, I wasn't looking for anybody online, it just happened, he started to chat to me with a very polite and delicate compliment and that was what I liked from him, that he was so delicate and cute spite of his physical look (he looks like a hard tough guy lol), which reminds me that one can't judge a book by its cover.... It's a matter of time and patience and being clever to not fall with everyone, try to look deeper to determinate if that person is the right one. Greetings
in my experience, one doesn't have much luck *looking* for a partner. one of my teachers once told me that once she stopped looking for love, she found it, and it happened unexpectedly. the exact same thing happened to me. i actually met someone just this year. it was over discord...so yes, you can find the love of your life virtually :) but the thing is, i only made a discord account to find friends. i joined a bunch of communities just to reach out and make connections. i never ever would have expected one of my friends on there to be my future partner. so i would tell you, make friends and be there for people. try to put yourself to the side for a while and be open to who you can make a connection with, as a friend, not necessarily a partner. i find that both romantic and non-romantic relationships form more beautifully that way.

Me and my first greatest love used to do this. We’d sleep together on video call and I remembered how we’d snore and wake up in the middle of the night to sleepily say “I love you” to each other or if one of us woke up from a nightmare, we’d say “It’s okay my love, I’m here. You’re safe now”.
Idiosyncrasies such is this reminds me of how beautiful my time was with him.
We had to break it off and I’m currently dating amazing man now that I will hopefully soon marry- but little things do matter in a relationship and I’ll always be grateful for my past lovers. They taught me how to love and become a better partner and person.

Maybe it looks cute, but actually its sucks. I've been in such relationships for 3 years and it was terrible. I was always upset because of distance and it affected on my real life, friends and family.
Moreover, he was a kind of abuser, bc he always blamed me when I didn't want to sleep with my phone or laptop, or when I hanged out with my friends "too much", or something like that
