I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Yeah, I missed it last weekend when early access started, and I've been checking their site daily to see if it says anything about a sale. Never has. I saw this video today and was like, yes, I'm headed to go buy the palette and the skin tint. Still no sale. I'm glad I came bk to ur video and read ur pinned comment. I'll keep checking bc I refuse to spend $90 on that palette that has existing shades in all of them except 1 that has just one but still. Anyways I missed out last yr on getting the palette I wanted so bad bc I just couldn't afford it. This year, I've saved and been waiting to buy one on sale, lol.
I try to keep up with the community post on sales that u and a few others I watch post to know about sales. I am now gonna be watching those posts daily for my black Friday beauty sales. I haven't seen HG say anything about a sale on their site bc I've missed it.

Ray in the scattered lights is my holy grail one and done eyeshadow in case you end up buying another I’ve never seen anyone it doesn’t look lovely on. I have smoke swatched but haven’t worn it now you’ve inspired me to 🤎
My favorite Hourglass blush at the moment is Euphoric Fusion -- it's described as a soft lilac and I'm obsessed with it for the fall/winter. 🤩💜
Going to try the skin tint. FYI, the strobe lighting powders can be mature eye friendly eye shadow toppers (applied lightly with a finger), for those who have one in a palette and don’t want the disco ball look on their cheeks 😉
When you mentioned your experience with the Hourglass blush in Brilliant Nude, you made me realise why it can be so hit and miss buying Hourglass blushes online simply because of the way the blush is composed of two swirled shades and how this balance can vary so much from pan to pan. Your experience with Brilliant Nude? I had the same sort of crushing disappointment with the shade, 'At Night.' I saw your (and others' - not your fault at all!) review, saw the swatches, saw how it looked online, loved it and promptly bought it (online.) When it arrived, I kid you not, it had only one hairline wisp of peachy nude and the rest of the pan is straight-up dark berry magenta. On me and my milk bottle complexion, it is nothing short of disastrous. I look like I've been in a fight with a jar of blackberry jam and there is no buffing or correcting that's going to save it, trust me. Don't get me wrong, Hourglass blushes are probably amongst my favourite formulas but if you buy them online it's like Russian roulette as to what colour balance you'll get.
I love my mood exposure blush! I got it as a mini to carry it in my bag because it makes every look better

I just ordered a few things from their sale 2 weeks ago. Picked up 2 palettes lepard and jelly already had snake. The veil primer a winter shade of the tint,balm , also got smoke I’ve had reflect for years constantly use it and a small bronze that I thought looked more pink but it was yellow

I love Hourglass Setting spray and it's not cheap ..., to me it's so refreshing and it is light, for me I like that often...I have things from them, enjoy their limited additions as well 6 pans including blushes.
I would not pay 100 lbs for that eye shadow either.. thankfully most of what I have gotten really turned out well. Thank you ❤Lol
Iv already hit the sale and bought my 1st ever hourglass pallete i went for leopard in jelly fish case. Its gorgeous and coming on my xmas holiday with me in fact having it in the seat next to me while my hubby goes in the hold, not risking any breakages😂😂😂😂❤
Love you Charlotte! And I def agree with your recommendations. The holiday palette/powders, skin tint, and concealer are my top favorites. And yes I'm one of those with chemical sunscreen sensitivities so I can't use a ton of skin tints and I love that they left it out of this one. Plus I already wear high protection sunscreen under my makeup so I don't care for it in makeup anyway and don't think it does much.

Hourglass ambient foundation is my favorite. They don't claim it to be a longwear, but it is. I wear it when I have a very long and very important workday.

deserved attention to some beautiful products. I’m quite fair and the Jellyfish has shot to the number one palette of all time spot. The blushes are a bit similar but I love the tone and I reach for those super light powders almost daily. Top drawer product for me. I’m willing to bet that there is a scattered light shade in your next favorite single eyeshadow video 😉 I’m embarrassed by the number of the volumizing glossy balms I have. I am slowly collecting them all. It’s such a lovely formula. I got a sample of the foundation and didn’t love it but everyone raves about it. I sort of want to give it another go. I’ve heard the same criticism you have about the universal powder in the bronzers with the swirl. I got lucky because all my swirl products are gorgeous but I’m pretty fair. I’ve been afraid of the strobe blushes or whatever they are for this reason:)
You will love the Scattered Light Eyeshadow. I have Reflect. It’s such a sophisticated sparkle😍 I have to add that the Veil Translucent Setting Powder is one of my favourites👌🏽

I love Hourglass and have all of this year's palletes plus several of the older ones. I want to get the tint. I have the foundation and love it.
I had this video on in the background (since I don’t plan on buying anything) and listened to your entire little ted talk about the foundation before I realised that is the exact same foundation I use all the time. It’s my only full coverage foundation! Agree with everything you said.
Edit: most importantly, they have a shade that is pale enough to suit me!

I love it and do think it gives your makeup more longevity than MAC. And best of all, it's fragrance free/unscented? One of the things I love about HG products is low to no scent. Charlotte Tilbury is best but I can't handle the smell of roses 😭

I have swatched the strobe powders in the new palettes. I need those in singles!
I need a backup of the soft glow foundation because mine will be finished in the next month or two, i really want to try the skin tint as, i like that it doesn't have SPF in it because i like to put my own SPF on. I got a sample of the concealer and i really like it so i might get a full size 😊
I use skin tints when popping to waitrose etc 😊. I use pixi skin tint in h20. I'll have to give hourglass a try when I'm low on my pixi and bioderma tints

Regarding the Hourglass eyeshadows in Australia is $46 each shade. So if you want to have a quad will be $184 plus the cost of the packaging (total will be over $200). Even Hermes eyeshadows are significantly cheaper! 🤣🤣🤣 And Hourglass is not even close. So for me is like a bad joke! I don’t like the brand anyway because I like a different aesthetic regarding makeup but looking at the packaging/quality vs price is like a robbery. :))) I saw reviews with the skin tint and the influencers (with dry skin) said is very greasy and sit on top of the skin plus 0 coverage. Their makeup brushes are ok but many of them cost like Sonia G brushes (or very close) and the difference is: synthetic and made in China vs natural and handmade in Japan. :)
But we are all different and is good is a brand for everyone.:)

Huh, I’m not seeing a neutral or olive option for that skin tint in light or light medium. Now I remember why I haven’t tried this yet. Do I get fair neutral or should I get medium neutral? Or should I get light medium warm? Maybe I shouldn’t get any of them if I have to work this hard to find a shade that won’t look horrible on me. I understand a skin tint is usually pretty forgiving on the color, but still…

I feel like the scattered light eyeshadows are not nearly as smooth as they look in swatches. There are lots of individual glitter particles in different sizes, and my sensitive eyes don’t love that.
Thank you!! On a total side note,..do you have any updates how you feel about any of the Cle de Peau foundations? And the new Prada foundation? As Black Friday approaches, just trying to narrow things down :) I typically prefer a little less glow than you do because of my texture, and fine lines.. I know CDP has quite a few different options now
I haven't tried the Prada but I love the CDP radiant matte -lovely finish, not life suckingly matte. I find it very perfecting and has great longevity on my combo skin.

They’re beautiful but they tend to dry out in the pot. Usually around the 4 month mark.
I have both! The hourglass aren’t really a cream. It’s like a soft dry formula. Word to the wise keep the little plastic things they put over the top to keep them fresh. I’ve had a few of each for years actually and they both perform beautifully. I find sometimes the eyes to mesmerize crease on me and you have to be a bit more careful to layer them right but the effect is gorgeous. The hourglass are my favorites but I tend to use them differently. They are the sparkly top coat or lid shade for me. On holiday I use my bronzer the the crease and Ray over the lid. Perfection honestly. Highly recommend giving the hourglass a go!

I love this brand for the most part, but how in the world is this company selling SINGLE shadows for $29 a piece?!?😮 That means a 5 color palette is $145!!!! Pat Mcgrath palettes with 10 colors are $15 less! I want to try these single shadows, but Hourglass should be embarrassed for the price on these!

I think I must be the only one person that loves the infinity powder. Bought it because I have extremely dry skin and live in Northern Europe. It’s just perfect as a powder for all over my face, then under eyes I’ll do givenchy prisms Libre . Haha send them all my way 😂
I love it soooo much. I am still using the one from the palette they made two years ago even if I use it at least three times a week.
Im glad HG has improved somewhat but they have a way to go ie. Eyeshadow are abysmal . They need a change jn their product development department.
Hourglass will ship to every hole in the ground but Australia. This crappy exclusivity with Mecca, that literally not only is a total ripoff but also never has any sales is so infuriating. 🤬
I actually really like the Curator Eyeshadows… yes they’re expensive - but to be honest I absolutely despise waste. I would much rather have products I use rather than makeup I don’t, and that’s just my take on it 🤷🏼♀️
I also don’t use 10 eyeshadows and I travel 10+ times a year on both long and short haul flights - so for me, it’s not worth buying a large palette!
The highlight palette is also beautiful if using a very fluffy brush and a very light hand- I use it a lot!
