While he obviously didn't run super fast, it's good for Jacobs to get a race in this season as an opener. It'll be interesting to see if he can still put together a decent season or if he'll have to wait until next year.
Yes it’s time to open up the season now but I don’t see a chance for him to race very fast. If he is able to race sub 10 it would be great but that’s not even enough nowadays to medal
@@ThePassionofSprinting I agree. I could see him running maybe something similar to last year's 9.95, but not really much faster if at all. It's good for him and his coach to have an idea though so that they can start planning their training further into the future.
He said he didn't felt legs after 40mt.
I guess he wasn’t able to run fast since weeks , now it just takes a while to get back in shape
he also said he didn't felt any pain, ad he was very happy about it
Jacobs problem is the Italian media
👩🏽⚖️
Omanyala in the top 3 in world championship 2023
Wish to Kenyan 1st sprint medal ..❤
Tebogo actually stumbles harshly on his second or third step (1:33). He almost falls. If he could keep up with the bunch and even take third place, it speaks volumes about his potential.
True... Tebogo seems to bee the fastest of all of them 😯😱
Omanyala is on an upward trajectory. Might be a podium finisher this year in many a events.
He is looking great so far !
He is in good form
Watch omanyala closely, he never misses the podium. Consistent.
Jacobs has to do A LOT of work if he is to be world champion. Other racers have improved and pose serious competition
Minkia settimo?
Jacobs seems mostly concerned with how robotic he can be. Does he even have a human soul at this point?
It seems a little strange: Marcel Jacob won the Olympic games in Tokio obtening 2 gold medals, but since then he didn't make any good performance, on the contrary, now have been passed 2 years and often he was even far from the track. We are sure anything about this guy is complete clean? Or, we are sure the successive failures cause physical injures are true and not just excuses to cover something of not really clean? In the last decades the world has become so corrupt, any doubt could be a possible hypothesis.
The End of Jacobs. Letsile will medal at worlds.
Letsile has for sure good chances to medal, he is such an amazing athlete
I remember everybody going crazy with Jacobs and saying he was running 9.4 s in practice. Lol.
Pretty sure that was before his thigh injury
@@theruckinmaul1460 It was. It was nothing but hype though, claims during practice just to create hype, Jacob never backed it up officially obviously. It's just that people fall into the hype at a given moment and don't realize how dumb they are at the same time.
Now something similar is taking place with Lyles, everybody saying that he can break the 100 m WR, bla bla. In a few months, everybody will be silent just like they are now with Jacobs.
I for one believe it when I see it officially. Till then, we can all speculate, but at least we should use reliable data for that. And go by what the data suggests at a give time. Otherwise, we look like children making uneducated guesses based on sheer feeling, etc.
@@Yes_I_c4n Jacobs is unfortunate with the injury and also the media. The media really hype him so much with him didn't say anything about it and just focus about his run, training and rehab.
@@theruckinmaul1460 but Jacobs' trainer was also a (huge) loud mouth, claiming this and that, putting data out, just to create hype around Jacobs, unreal hype, really. I remember at the time a lot of people were saying that Jacobs was going to run low 9.6 and eventually even break the WR. Lol, it was hilarious really.
A guy who never went under 9.80 s officially, who does not have exceptional top end speed (PB of 3.39 s @ 60...100 m split), who does not have a great start, that never showed WR potential, and people were going nuts about him breaking the WR or running low 9.6 s like if it's a walk in the park...
Ultimo, te le hanno suonate di santa ragione "campione oooolimpicooooooo"👎👎👎👎👎
Concordo pienamente! La pippa pompata del secolo!
One hit wonder
