Great to see you back ! I've converted my main to a gaff rig now and have had some good sailing with it especially in strong gusty conditions.
That sounds great. Which country?
@@msf60khz UK In the North. The only problem I do have with the gaff sail is getting the damn creases out !

No I have not done that.
ALL RIGHT !! More Mirror Cruising! I'm having my second mainnsail altered to be gaff rigged and reefable as per Mirror Mods 3 TOMORROW! very timely post !
David, you will enjoy the gaff rig, but remember it is best for strong winds.
