    Ki blasts are a huge part of high level play, but tend to get overlooked at lower levels. Here's a few tips to using them correctly.

    Lol as a broly player I love when people just super dash kiblasts haphazardly. They absolutely don't adapt to the fact that I'm just baiting them💀

    unless you're starting out at point-blank range (like during a block string), you can't cancel ki blasts when they come into contact with a super dash anymore; that was patched out a long time ago. so, at 8:58, what you're actually doing is recovering from the ki blast and then 2Hing, as opposed to canceling the ki blast's recovery into 2H.

    I’m a trunks player point player and I love when the enemy uses ki blast a lot. Or if there team relies on ki blast assist such as vegeta or vegito because I just change the future and assist call my beam and then I’m in

    This actually made me look at ki blasts as less of a tool than before. The only super dash that you can punish is FULL screen sd and you can barely do that in an offline demonstration. Plus the only thing that beats any SD is the beam assists which everyone knew already. So all you really said was SD in a “smart way” because worst case senerio, they block the SD but you got in for free and everyone knew this already. Now if there are people that legitimately thought FULL screen SD is a viable option, then they’re just dumb.

      Lots of characters can punish SD attempts after 2 ki blast from a 3/4 of the screen away. SSJ can check you with 1 ki blast from mid screen and gives you enough time to react to SD with 2H. Broly can actually throw 3 from point dash 5M range and still react to SD with ki blast in time

      @@SMSAceofSpades if ur using kiblasts at close range u are probably actively expecting a super dash and are prepared to punish.... Other than that it's not normal to just randomly spam them at close range so ur point doesn't work. It's basically be smart when using ki blasts and their much more effective.

    As soon as you play a team with bad ki blasts you notice how oppressive they are. I literally suffocate when I have to play against a good SSJ Goku, Teen Gohan or A18/A17 because none of my characters can engage it in the same way. But god bless Change the future

    Can you give advice on dealing with 6M? I hear that some characters can 2H it while others can’t, more specifically medium to tall characters can’t 2H but can reflect while short characters can 2H or reflect

    • @NeoBoneGirl
      @NeoBoneGirl Před 4 lety +1

      6M isn't airborne so any 2H you would hit is just a fact of your 2H being faster than the 6M, nothing to do with 2H's properties. If you know it's coming, you can just mash out of raw 6M with lights or reflect every time because it's slow. Outside of that there's no special trick besides getting used to reacting to it and where your opponent likes to use it

    any advice against frieza finger blasts into rocks?
    i've fought guys who (and i'm not joking) did nothing but this. usualy with shield/beam assists or beam/dp assists. by the time they use both and i get close they do 22S or discs or 2h.
    feel like i'm robbed playing spammers like these...

      What if you just get in close, wait for the barrier, and then pressure?

    • @TeamDeltaMAXXX
      @TeamDeltaMAXXX Před 4 lety +3

      you can literally just block it and force them to get in if you have the life lead. Ki blast and rocks do no chip damage. If not keep in mind that Frieza is +7 from a full screen ki blast so he can kinda frame trap you full screen. Just be patien and challenge with a SD, a beam or a ki blast of your own when you find a gap in their zoning

      Doru well to start you have a longgg way to go if you're calling zoning "spamming" lol. The first step is to leave the scrub quotes stage and then from there a new path to improvement opens lmao
