A world-first clinical trial two decades in the making

Premature baby Emmy Cogan was the first patient in North America to receive a treatment that could change the lives of babies with bronchopulmonary dysplasia. The researcher behind the clinical trial, Dr. Bernard Thebaud, reflects on the journey to this moment and what it could mean for the future.
