I cried off and on nearly through the whole video. The moment I heard you speak of our Lord I knew God had lead me to the right person to hear from.
My husband just got approved to join and we’re waiting for the job list to drop. 2 more days. We have two girls and I’ve been recovering my health for the last 4 years.
My husband and I have been seeking God about taking such a drastic turn in our lives. When you said you were scared when your husband brought up military it really hit home for me. I’m trying to set aside my fear and know that God is in control. To the finest detail of my life and that He will faithfully guide me on the path He has for my life. I subscribed and I’m really looking forward to hearing more from you. 💕 praise God for your testimony of His amazing faithfulness!
Awh 🥹 wow! He is so faithful to confirm for us what he is speaking. ❤️ I understand that fear, the unknown is so mysterious and all those anxious thoughts can come surrounding what we don’t know. The journey has its hard moments but it’s been so rewarding for us, and we still believe that God has us exactly where we need to be right now.
I’m praying that you would continue to experience His peace and clarity surrounding this decision, that he would continue to confirm it for you and bring people along your path that would be enriching and supporting to your family. 🙌🏼
I just found your channel and it feels like SUCH a God thing! My husband ships out to basic on 10/3 and he will be in aircraft maintenance I believe! I’ve been a bit nervous lately about all the negative things I hear from military spouse FB groups, such as cheating, divorce rates, drama, etc…but yet I also know that my husband and I don’t claim those things and that the Lord will sustain us through his time in the AF. It’s so refreshing to hear a perspective from someone who was also married and a believer before their spouse enlisted! Sorry for rambling but I do appreciate this video and I just subscribed 🤍 hope to see more of your military spouse videos in the future 🥰

Hi Holly! That’s amazing!! ❤ The Lord will absolutely sustain you both through BMT and your entire military journey. There is a grace that he gives for us spouses as we take this road, and even when things feel tough-remember that there is breakthrough on the other side of these harder moments.
BMT and tech school can be the hardest, just remember grace. Grace for yourself and for your husband-they go through a lot and a lot of changes happen but once you guys get into your first PCS move you’ll start to see things settle down back to a more normal state and for us, it was for the better! ❤

How is your journey going? My husband just enlisted and I have so many mixed feelings 😭😭😭❤ I know I just need to stay strong in my faith.
@@Queenb.90 it hasn’t been the easiest but we’re making it! We’ve been in Idaho for the past couple months at his first duty station and we really love it. His job has definitely been stressful and we’re essentially working opposite shifts right now, but we keep reminding ourselves that this isn’t forever and the sacrifices he’s making now will be so worth it for our family 🩷 I know it feels really scary at first, just keep thinking about why he’s joining and what y’all’s end goal is with this journey! 🫶🏼
@hollyanncampbell I'm so happy to hear that yall are making the best of it. I'm sure it's rough settling into the new lifestyle so hopefully yall get on a better schedule that's not so stressful. We have 3 kids and I have never been away from him longer than a couple of days lol! I plan to keep myself busy with work and packing. I can relate to your story. My husband wants to join the Army. We've been married for 6 years and have two sons. I have no words. You are the first video I clicked on.. my jaw dropped when you said how your husband’s name is Steven, then dropped even more when you talked about you had experienced the same thing. I am nervous and afraid of what might come, my husband Steven is on his way to apply for the Air Force so I decided to look for videos of spouses, why not? Seeking information and knowing what to expect. I have to say and know in my heart God put you in my path.

My husband is in the middle of his BMT for the air force right now. His job he enlisted with is possibly going to get changed due to a technical error I guess. This would have him changing his whole career field, we planned our life around where this position could take us. So watching your video definitely helped bring me some peace that even though it might completely change from what we planned it’ll work out!

Thank you for this video my husband graduates this October 20 kind of similar. I did not really want him to leave but I wanted him to do what was best in his heart for our family and for himself. He still has one more graduation left January 25 he joined the army this is probably been the hardest thing I’ve gone through without him around. We have three kids together so it’s definitely been tough and has its own challenges. I never expected this lifestyle. Thank you for making this video and have a blessed day.

My husband is close to getting a ship date for the army and I’ve been so emotional 😭 😅we’ve been married 2 years and just had twin boys, so it’s just been a lot to process without projecting my fears onto him. This is really something he’s been wanting to pursue for a while now. I needed this encouragement, thank you!
Wow!! Praying for that strength and the help that you’ll need from community or family to surround you. Being apart is tough but there is blessing through it too! ❤ I understand those fears, it’s a big change. What helped me was releasing it to God and telling Him “my life, my marriage is in Your hands, God - be it unto me according to your word.”

Thank you so much for your video. I literally just read a scripture about trusting God earlier today. When my husband told me he wanted to join the Air Force it was a few weeks ago during Christmas. I cried a lot every time he brought it up and told him I wont talk about it until after Christmas because it was ruining the holiday season. Since then as Ive prayed about this I have gotten the feeling to just support my husband. So I am and we are going to see how this goes. We also have been married for 4 yrs. Although I have 3 kids, 3 and under, so I definitely didnt want something else on my plate.
Any more videos of your experience would be great and advice too!

I really needed this video! I have a question. My husband is due to join next month. He’s a US citizen, but I’m from the Caribbean. At what point will we get to come live with him and how long does it take? We have a 2 year old son
I’m in a similar situation right now. My girlfriend and I are in college and are long distance right now. She is set on going into the Air Force and it’s very scary for me. We both want to raise a big family, is it hard to raise a family while she is in the Air Force? Would I have to be a stay-at-home Dad?
This video was good helpful!!! Question. At what point do they see about paperwork for the spouse and kids? My husband will be joining next month, however, he’s a US citizen and I’m from the Caribbean and we’d want to live together when he finishes BMT, etc
Hi there! Once your husband graduates BMT he will be going to Tech School where he learns how to do the job he was selected for. If the Tech School is over 6 months long, in some cases they will move you and your kids to the base where he will be in school and you may live together. However if the Tech School is less than 6 months, they will not move you and you may not live together until he graduates and then they will move your whole family to his first duty station.
For us, because my husband had a longer BMT experience, I moved to where his tech school was on our own dime for the 4 months he was at tech school so we could at least see each other weekly. However it was only about a 5 hour drive from our home town, so it was an easy move for me.

Hi, do you recall the weight requirements? My husband is wanting to reenlist and it’s been years since he’s done it so I’m curious. He got in before I came along and is now reserves trying to go back active so I’m trying to get as much information as possible! Btw I love your video it helps a lot!
Hi there! That is something an Air Force recruiter could answer, it depends on his height and age, and the requirements may change year after year.

My husband is reenlisting after years. It was something he was wanting for a while but delayed because he wanted our children to be around family longer. We prayed about it and told God, "if this is not what you want, make it a no." We had delay after delay and we were beginning to wonder but everything finally went through and he got his list of MOS options and will be choosing tomorrow. I like everything you said in this video. Very helpful, maybe God led me to your video because I was still unsure. We didn't know if the delays were God telling us not to do it. We've been married 17 years and our marriage was started in the military.
You should put a disclaimer on your thumbnail that your Christian, Catholic, etc. I had to fast forward a lotttt but it’s great you guys found friends where your husband is stationed
We have such a similar testimony except my husband is in the Marines. My husband has wanted this since he was little as well & he kind of sprung it back up one day & I was not okay with it until The Lord confirmed it to me. It’s been interesting & I won’t lie a little lonely but whatever God has planed for us will always work out & be for the best! Thank you for sharing. This eased my nerves. 🤎
